  ps and then love yourself the same way… and then after that… don’t settle for anyone that doesn’t love you like that….. WHY? because you are worth it.
  1st Corinthians chapter 13 is called the love chapter. You’ll find out why when you read it.

  You need to find out how great you really are because you don’t have any self esteem. Find out who you are in Christ! You are a princess! The bible says that you are the daughter of The Most High King if you are saved. Read this book called the Bondage Breaker, and read outloud to yourself all the things that Jesus said about you personally… because He did… and believe it… because it’s all true. I use to cut myself as a teenager. I had sex with anyone that gave me attention…. All I wanted was to be loved my whole life… and to get it ( so I thought) I gave myself to anyone that showed me any kind of attention. It was gross… but it was all because I didn’t love myself.. I didn’t learn to start loving myself until I came to know Christ. but when I developed a relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit… He made me into someone completely new… I am His radiant bride Amen!!!!!!! And so are you. He changed my whole life around and now I have a wonderful husband who treats me like Jesus would…. maybe not all the time, but nobody can take the place of my first husband… which is Jesus. He is Number One…. Joshua is number two and he knows that. As a matter of fact, I am number two to Joshua because Jesus is his number one… Life is good when it’s full of love. read 1 corinthinas chapter 13 and see just how God loves you.

  Well sweetie, if you don’t like what he’s doing, you need to let him know in a respectful way. Guys really dig respect, and in fact they give more love when you give more respect. It almost makes them gushy unless they are really prideful… then their ego’s just get as big as the moon and you have created a monster… *laughs*
  you should tell him that if he is seriouse about you than he should stop even talking to her because it cultivates distrust in your relationship… but be respectful. If he has had sex with her than he needs to leave her alone completely because there is a tie there that shouldn’t even be there. You shouldn’t have sex until you’re married for that very reason. A relationship is built on trust, so if he doesn’t stop than you should move on, because he doesn’t deserve your attention and love if he can’t make you number one. You are better than wasting your preciouse jewels on someone that doesn’t seem to see it as valuable at all. The bible says not to cast your pearls to swine. what that means is that a pig can’t see value in something that is beautiful because he doesn’t even recognize it as anything. A pig would trample all over something that could be worth a lot of value. And you girlfriend…. are worth more than you could even imagine, and so is the love that you give… so don’t toss it to a pig that can’t see it’s value.

  Well I agree with a lot of what cmt said to you. If you marry this guy right now (since you are engaged) that it is going to be a lot of trouble with you. At the same time, I know what it’s like to be in love with someone. More than likely you probably won’t ditch the guy whether you should or not. The best thing that you can do is tell him how you feel first. Pray for him if you love him too…. because even though you can’t change him God can. My husband and even I have been very controling to each other in the beginning of our marriage. It takes you understanding that he is jelouse maybe and afraid of losing you (which means that he loves you but is maybe co- dependent which will make you feel suffocated) and it takes him understanding that if he wants you to be happy with him, he needs to choose a different route for his insecurities. I don’t know how old your relationship is, but make sure you get premarital counseling with a good pastor, and that you both feel like you are going into this prepared. It is better to be alone than in a miserable marriage so keep that in mind too. But once you are married, you already made the commitment to be there for life… through every change in life. If you are dedicated to this man, make sure that he knows that you guys need to get help before you get married, so that you can enjoy your marriage and not feel like you can’t be yourself. God bless you, and remember to pray and ask God to change your fiance’ but more importantly yourself… because nobody is perfect and change from God is good.
