For years I had been a strange person and hadn’t realized it. I acted like someone different for every person, the way I had to act so that they would consider the friendship worthwhile.
Being someone you’re not is a drain on your happiness.
It’s a struggle, but I am gaining the courage to be myself more and more. Anyone who doesn’t like me for me, I FINALLY realize, is a waste of my time. I can even accept the fact that I have only one friend. I sometimes wonder what makes me so different that I can hardly befriend anyone.

Global warming, overconsumption, overpopulation, negative religiousness, ignorance, stupidity.
