  Positivity exists within you. You have to bring it to life by recognizing the wonderful qualities that you possess. This can be difficult to do after prolonged periods of self-doubt that we all experience, but you’re stronger than you think. Take the time to see your beauty, talent, and dreams for the future. Afterwards, you’ll understand that confidence is not something given to you by others, but attained through self-revelation. You can do anything! The only limit is your mind.

• How is everyone doing?
  

  Well, I haven’t been here in a while. I made a new friend. She’s awesome. I’ve also gotten in touch with a few old ones as well. I suppose the hardest thing is letting go of this sadness. I’ve used it a lot these past 2 years. It has been a great way of dealing with the loss I’ve endured, but it’s also an unhealthy emotional dependency. I’ve gotten so used to it, that I’m afraid to admit that things may actually be falling into place. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it’s true. At this point I can’t use depression as an excuse to hide anymore. I have no reason to. I guess what I’m trying to say is that my biggest fear is opening that brand new door in front of me. It’s all I’ve ever wanted. But to open it would mean leaving the safe haven I’ve created into a world where I’m vulnerable again. Is it worth the risk? I’d like to think so. I’ll walk through it soon. There’s no question about it. I just don’t understaand why it’s so hard to leave this painful past behind. It’s become my life I suppose. It’s some bittersweet nostalgic feeling that keeps me here. But ships set sail and life goes on. If only life wasn’t so beautiful, it would be so much easier to breathe.

  There are a lot of beautiful and wonderful women in this world. Like anyone worth finding, You have to live and learn in order to reach them. As for God? God is whatever you want him/her/it to be. Therefore you’re the one in control of your destiny. Unfortunate things do happen, but we must find the strength to learn from them instead of allowing them to bring us down. Neither of these things are easy, so I understand your frustration. I’ve been there, too. There’s really not much consolation for a broken heart. Only You know how You truly feel. My only advice is to keep trying and let time heal your wounds along the way. Take care, friend. I hope things change for the better soon.

  21. Despite waiting that long, it was still with the wrong girl. I didn’t plan on it. Strictly out of boredom. I didn’t enjoy it @ all, although she seemed to. It wasn’t until I was in a loving + dedicated relationship that I actually looked forward to it. Go figure. LoL.

• I lost my girlfriend.
  

  She called me a few months ago. It really surprised me, because our relationship ended on very bad terms. She said she’d never speak to me again. Either way, I could tell that she wasn’t happy and regretted what she’d done to me. She apologized, but I told her I couldn’t accept it. I really can’t take anything she says to heart. She told me about how she was moving to Washington and then to Florida with her friend Andrea. That just speaks volumes about her. It’s the same thing with the girl that you’re with: She’s confused. She doesn’t know what she wants, and you’ll be the One getting hurt because of that.

  My ex-girlfriend left me for one of her co-workers. Their relationship didn’t even last a quarter of what ours did. My advice: Leave her behind. Find a girl who wants ONLY you, because you deserve it. Her behavior will only make you miserable if you wait around for her. Trust me on that….
