Based on avatar I should clearly win. Come on, it’s Garfield! :D

I’m moving to…. the same city. 800 meters from this place, but with half the space and worst conditions. Still beats street though.

Yes, you should be waiting a reply from me indeed. I’m just postponing it a little bit. Not that I had a good reason, I’m just feeling a little tired (because I’ll be moving soon - by soon I mean tomorrow lol).

I did see the voting a couple minutes ago. Could only vote or inside handsomeness, since I haven’t seen pictures of any of them!

I always check my e-mail. But not everyday, and on the same day (chaotic?)

Well as far as I can remember, I should be expecting a reply from you. If that reply would be too huge, long and personal - send it thru e-mail pls. Thanks =)

Plus I did vote for you as the most handsome member of Help.com. Many are handsome here, but you top my list! Handsome in and out! =)

Crossing countries is the least. If everything goes okay I’ll be in England in no time.

Sorry I haven’t talked much, I’m having some problems, nothing that can’t be solved though. :) I’m still hoping I can go back to my home country instead of England. Dunno, there is something about being “home” again that makes me excited :D

I’m okay, a little bit tired.

Was supposed to be back at Spain yesterday, but the car broke down on the highway… Had to call road assistance and they wouldn’t pay for the taxi back home.. Ended up staying the night (last one) at my father’s girlfriend and came back home in a train today, with lots of bags. I’m still waiting for the Audi to arrive, I have an idea of what happened but want to be sure. :/

I feel empty though. I was getting used to my life in Portugal.

Well I listen a little bit of everything, no favorite genre or anything.

The last couple months I’m listening to Youtube stuff almost exclusively: The Piano Guys, Lindsey Stirling, some covers by Boyce Avenue, Tiffany Alvord and Megan Nicole. If you ask me again in a month, I’m sure I’ll be listening something completely different though.

Hey, I’m not dead yet, nor I will vanish. I’ll still try to pop up at least once or twice a week. I’d end up in a mad house without internet. There is no goodbye!

Things I cannot live without… Clothes, shoes, computer and accessories, cellphones, headphones, earphones. Can’t live without music.

What do you listen to btw?

No. it is not an overkill, they are yours anyway.

Bring personal stuff you can’t live without. Two years in Spain is quite long, you’ve accumulated memories and things. Bring with you things that matter, important, and that will keep you going. Money included. LOL

BTW you got mail.

Report this shout to moderators

Sort of. I’m trying to figure out what to bring and what to leave. If I leave it for the last minute I’ll forget something, I always do.

Besides, I’m the kind of person that always tries to fit the whole house in the bag. I often tend to pack stuff so well that, whenever I’m happy with the results, find out the bag is WAY over the weight limit.

Keep in mind I’m in Spain for almost two years with a bag packed for spending roughly a couple weeks. Should probably put stuff I’ll leave but want to keep in separate boxes so that, if I don’t get back, at least my father can mail my stuff back.

Relax, baby steps. No one can amend anything overnight, but we can improve a little every day.

After all, isn’t it what life is? One day at the time, sure they can’t all be good days, but we can always make the best we can of each one. :)

LOL you are far more better than those priesst, plus you won’t qualify as such -
you have high-morals.

the young, though handsome priest is an ugly immoral person! sad to say.

beer in heaven would be nice, coupled with good food and good music. would we be able to see each other there. i prefer to see you here on earth first.

God is good, God is great. He doesn’t want us to suffer. there are just some things we have to experience to make us whole as a person. some things that need to be fulfilled.

like diamonds, we are constantly in heat and in fire for us to be able to brilliantly shine.

and yeah, i replied.

this constant exchange of emails is kinda addicting. it is nearing 1 pm here

haha..

Was talking about Portugal. Specifically the priest of my hometown. The old one died a few years ago, and the new one was a young handsome guy in his late 20’s. Nice guy to talk with about anything.

At first he did not want to go there because the house he was supposed to stay in was in bad shape. People got him an apartment and a brand new SUV. Then they built him a damn nice house. Had lots of young girls there with a crush on him. And don’t forget those common two week vacations all around the world! I should have definitively become a priest LOL

I’m glad you are not very sensitive on religion. I respect people’s beliefs but also make some jokes that some people don’t take well (such as the one about beer in heaven).

the Vatican in Rome would allow it but the Philippine’s Catholic Church would not. since when have we become superior to them? idk!

yeah, there are handsome priests, but do women there would actually see them as some sort of movie idols or models, they would have a crush on or woo?! there is a limit to everything. propriety dictates that it should not be the case (we talking of Spain here right?)

like you i believe in “something”. i put a name to that “something” which is God, Jesus Christ. w/o Jesus, i would be simply be a clueless wanderer of this world

i am not much concern nor sensitive on religion per se. but i am sensitive on my faith, Jesus Christ.

idk, but religions should not be made as milking cows. it goes beyond money, financial support, it should nourishes the soul and spirit, rather than pockets of the chosen privilege priests

Oh, if they were to kick out every priest with a secret women, half of my country would not have priests in their churches. It is a shame really, but it is not like it’s a big secret. That and all the girls that go nuts when a young handsome priest comes to a church (after the death of the old one). Really, sometimes I wonder why half of the people are there.

I thought the Vatican agreed with birth control? But you are right though, state and religion should never be together. History has taught us that when they go hand to hand, bad things happen.

I do believe in “something”, just not a God in its throne punishing bad people and rewarding others, and especially not in heaven and hell. I’d like to thing that if there is a God up there, he’ll be happy that I do what’s right because it’s the right think to do and that I love/help others because it’s what my heart tells me to, not because I fear being punished. If I die and there is in fact a heaven and a hell, I’ll be okay with it, as my conscience is clean. Either way, I’ll be pissed if there isn’t any beer up there. (I’m just kidding, I do joke a lot about religion, feel free to tell me if it makes you comfortable. God must have a sense of humor too, right? :) )

sorry, typo error - which i am NOT sure if they consistently do!

really, that is so much. i know that roman catholic churches earn money! they actually own vast lands here in our country. probably richest then and richest now. making a business out of religion is something that is hard to prevent, but can be stabilize and monitored through charity. which i am sure if they consistently do!

priests that have women is a big no! the roman catholic church in ROME should know about that haha, i guess, they will be able to, soon. God is not sleeping.

you know the catholic church here oppose the RH bill, reproductive health bill (supporting the artificial birth control in the country, like the use of condoms, pills, iud, etc) it is so way too ancient right? cause when some parts of the world would give a right for a pregnant woman the choice of abortion, here in our country, lawmakers are still debating whether or not a choice to use a condom and pills should be legalize and made as a law!

religion should be separated from the state. i envy the US for being so. when mix, they are crazy. the state needs religion for the votes, the religion will need the state for the finances.

yeah, i do practice my religion. i go to church, attend mass, pray, ask for special mass for special intentions, do penance, confess my sins, act of contrition, visit the blessed sacrament, visit special religious sites, pray, make a few donations, pray, pray and pray. shout in prayer if nearing insanity.

my religion is again on Jesus Christ, w/o Him there, i would quit immediately. no point to stay. my faith and religions is based on Him.

btw you got mail =) thanks for your reply

how about you? do you believe in God, Jesus Christ?

That’s how it should be, but people tend to forget basic ideas and try to buy their way out of everything.

I actually used to joke a lot with my friends about that, saying I should have become a priest. You get paid by the church for talking a bit at the church, people pay you some more, donation boxes at chapels revert to the church/priests. It’s all win. Plus, I have yet to know a priest around my home town that didn’t have women. Yep, you read that right.

Religion has become a joke, I’m surprised (and happy, although I don’t follow it) that, somewhere in the world, people still remember what following a religion is supposed to be.

So, do you practice your religion? :)

Report this shout to moderators

really, the early spaniards who conquered the philippines for more than 300 years taught every bit about the catholic religion here

paying the priests? wow, haha, now and then the priests seems to always be in a win-win situation.

i have nothing against the priest, but my faith focuses more on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Although I was raised as a Roman Catholic, I’ve never followed it. I do however respect it and holidays such as easter and holy week, since most of my family and friends celebrate them.

Funny you mention you do penance there, people around here seem to have forgotten how it works. If you ask someone, they’ll tell you “not to eat meat” but have no idea why, nor do they know there was supposed to be a penance, not exactly meat.

Won’t even get into the fact that some people simply pay the priest so they won’t have to do a penance.
