  Not a problem. When you do have time though. It’s only a commitment of about 5-10 minutes a day for 40 days.

  Thanks for sharing, Betta. Actually, I do not dislike non-believers at all. I know many people that are very spiritual or extremely intelligent on the subject of God, but call themselves Agnostic or Atheist. These are the people I worry about most. I know for a fact that God will talk to you through what ever medium you choose, but I see many people begin that road to discovery but ignore the signs he is there.
  
  My fear that it is our Christian majority that is driving many spiritual people away from God. We are filled with hypocrites and bigots that cannot live up to the man-made laws our religion has created. At some point, Christians began ‘defining’ what a true Christian is and creating laws and rules that all true Christians should follow. I think many non-believers and spiritual people look at these rules and the people preaching them and they decide to look for another way.
  
  As Christians we have created a man-made box of rules and guide-lines for us to live inside of — box that no one can fit perfectly inside of. These laws and rules were not created by God and I want people to understand that. The only requirement for being Christian is having love for the Father and listening to his plan for you.
  
  I agree with you on a lot of things that you said, Betta. Though I do agree that many people making money off preaching are very anti-Christian, there are a lot of people doing the Lords work through preaching and prayer. And just because they profit off the books or teachings, does not mean they are wrong — it simply means we live in a Capitalistic society where you are rewarded for what you give.
  
  I challenge you read The Purpose Driven Life. It’s a book designed to be read over a 40 day period (about 1 page a day) to help you understand God’s plan for your life. I actually just started reading it for the second time. (The first time I gave it to my cousin half way through.) I’m currently on day 2 of 40.
  
  Read the book with an open mind and we can discuss the book from both sides — Christian and Atheist. If take the forty-day journey and still feel there is no God — that’s okay, but I think you’ll be amazed at what you discover.
  
  You can buy the book at Target for around $10. If you’re willing to take the challenge, I’ll be happy to reciprocate and read anything you wish so I can better understand your point of view.

  Project out what you want back. What do I mean by this? If you want someone to be nice to you, be nice to them. If you want someone to be your friend, you have to be their friend first. Go out of your way to make the people you want as friends feel special and appreciated and you will receive many friends in return.

  We live in an amazing world. Looking out into the infinite galaxies of stars at night. Or simply appreciating the infinite details of a small plant. There are so many things in this world that fill us all with love and hope and LIFE. To say this all happened by chance is to not appreciate all the works of our Father.
  
  Try to make your own day. Think about that for a moment. Try to make your own day!
  
  Everything we enjoy in this life has been given to us, and all we are asked in return is to be humble and appreciative.
