I am an anthropologist, poet, translator, and EFL teacher.
My areas of knowledge and interest include LBK and Oneota archaeology, osteohistology, ancient Greek and Roman ethnographic reports, Korean traditional technology, baby nicknames worldwide, Einschulung and other modern European ceremonies (rites of passage and similar activities), Ethiopian mead production and use, ethnography of archaeology; the poets Bryant, Heine, Longfellow, and Cummings; written science fiction; German/English translation.
