Weather Storm, has a common Armstrong signature. In this case, he has heavily textured the composition with sounds of nature. Great for visualization and relaxation.
I have a hard time with the bags - always have, likely always will. As a child, I didn’t like liver and I still don’t, but I don’t get upset when other people eat it, enjoy:P
Nice piano work by Wakeman, I have an appreciation of semi-solo works as this. It leans close to a classical dicipline and retains a high degree of purity in its performance, very clean.
There are only a few categories of music that I do not appreciate. Other than that, I have a well-rounded appreciation for many generes. I go thorough phases where I am head deep into one or the other and lately I’ve been bending my ear to electronic compositions.
For me, the following links are sot of where my ear has been. Some of them you may have heard yourself, maybe some not. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9qqLr… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9dqNF… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWZS8H…
That was a good composition. It starts off heavy and mysterious. I think the rhythm could have played sooner as I was already captivated by it. I can see why you like.
I’m not familiar with this piece of work but I must say it could be a movie soundtrack.
Hmmm. Thinking. If I’m not mistaken, there was a movie called “Amber.”
No. I’m not a moderator - anybody can edit ANY post. In this specific case the Poster only had a youtube link and s/he was new to this site. (Poster didn’t know how to import the video into the thread.) I asked for their permission to edit the post (which is only respectful)
Some posts, the ones that have such bad spelling (must be worse than mine), I will edit without permission.
But, no, I’m not a mod.
I don’t mind the religous debate. Evil never rests. . . Why should I?
Yeah, my life seems to outline a non-traditional standard. But when it comes to the grind it’s 84+ hours a week. I am, however grateful for the time it gives me as a result, though.
I am very glad to hear about your mom. I am glad to hear that she is still with you.
Thank God! Amen.
And thank you for the invite.
I plan to travel sometime in my life. India among toher places has been an interest of mine. You can bet I will let you know before I get there. It would be an honor to meet you.
Oh, yeah - lol!
I suppose I stirred up the pot a bit and created a troll in action. They had many over-colorful things to say to me, which I can take as I’m seldom moved by someones hysterics. So I thought I’d invite my friends over but the post was removed and the user acount banned before anyone had a chance to respond - (thank you Mitzy)!
I’m doing alright. Finished up with my seasonal work on the North Slope and now I’m just waiting out the remainder of winter. Looking forward to getting back to work on the property.
I know. Feels low to see cats go away like this. :-(
I’m better now. Been to a 3 day church camp. Really helped. One pastor spoke passionately of the heart of God.
One gave a testimony of an accident 3 years back. He was given 48 hours to live. Then, he not only came out of coma, he stopped medicines in 2 months and resumed his preaching within 6 months. Impressive. Only God can provide such a powerful testimony.
At the camp, there were two little girls (must be around 10 years) - both received the gift of tongues and were baptised in the Spirit. Amazing!
(And - my ministry? I don’t have anything officially, just what I can tell people on the Net. Hope there was no misunderstanding. Heh.)
