• Do you know what happens when you don’t tip a waiter/waitress?
  

  Firstly, I treat all of my tables just as I’d like to be treated at a restaurant, because I prefer to know it’s not me who warrants a bad tip. I would never do anything to anyone’s food, but if you’re incredibly rude to me off the bat, I won’t exactly care what happens to your food either.
  
  Okay, the average sit time of a table is between 45-60 minutes. The average meal at my restaurant is between 30-40$ so let’s go with 35$ where 8$ would be a very good tip, over 20%. I lose $1.05, and as I said, my hourly just about covers my taxes so let’s ignore the fact that I even get paid an hourly rate and not include taxes. So that’s down to 6.95$ for 45 minutes of work (and I tip out to a food server at the end of the night) so that works out to about $6.50 an hour if I’m getting the spectacular tip of 8$. What if I only get 15%? That’s 5.25, minus the tip out, it’s down to $4.20 so less than $4.20 an hour for a not so glorious job.

  Charity hand outs? That’s how I get paid, in tips. You wouldn’t go to the mechanic and not pay him for fixing your car so why is it okay to not pay us? If we got paid hourly, it would have to be an enormous amount for anyone to deal with what we have to deal with. Tipping is the only way to keep restaurant costs reasonable so cheap morons like you can go out with your friends

  You miiight be able to remove the hard drive and install it to a compatible computer, but it’ll be difficult, especially if you don’t have knowledge of computers. Also, in the future, I recommend backing up your files every so often. Generally, if your motherboard dies, your computer dies.

  Muhammad Ali himself recalls an encounter with Jimmy, a young boy suffering from leukemia, who wanted to meet him before his epic fight with George Foreman in 1974. Before the boy left, Ali had a photograph taken of himself and Jimmy which he enlarged later and sent to the kid, with the inscription: “You’re going to beat cancer. I’m going to beat George. Love, Your friend, Muhammad Ali.” Two weeks later Ali learned that Jimmy was in a hospital and not expected to live. Within three hours Ali was at the boy’s bedside.
  
  When I walked in he was lying in his bed and I saw that his skin was as white as his sheets were.
  
  Jimmy looked up with bright eyes and called out, “Muhammad, I knew you would come!”
  
  I walked over to his bedside and said, “Jimmy, remember what I told you? I’m going to beat George Foreman and you’re going to beat cancer.”
  
  Jimmy looked up at me and whispered, “No, Muhammad. I’m going to meet God, and I’m going to tell him that you are my friend.”
  
  The room was silent and we were in tears. I hugged Jimmy good-bye and later that night when we returned to my training camp, none of us spoke much.
  
  A week later the boy died, and the father invited Ali to the funeral. Unable to attend, he sent Gene, his assistant. “When Gene returned from the funeral, he told [Ali] that there had been an open casket and that the autographed picture was beside Jimmy’s head.”
