You are exactly right, some people smoke at the wheel or eat, and they are ok. In Britain if you even hold a mobile phone, parked in a car park with the engine turned OFF you can be fined. You have to have the keys OUT of the engine. That is not going to cause an accident, so it is Unfair.

Oh, it is allowed in Sweden to talk in a mobile while driving.

it is proved that some few accidents have been caused by it, but it is also proved that an average person sharpens his/her attention while talking in a mobile. What is the difference from eating an apple, or smoking?

The only funny thing is that in the afternoon somebody called and wanted me to buy some kind of a crime chronicle book for about USD 100, where the profit would go to the Policemen’s Sport Club.

I Know exactly how you feel.

I got pulled over a few days ago for holding my mobile phone (ironically to switch it off) and got 3 points on my licence (12 and you get banned here) and a £60 fine.

I have never felt so humiliated and sorry for myself. I’ve never had any problems with the police before. It doesn’t help that my daughter is a police officer! :(

Hi. I have had a quick peek at Spirited Souls post, but too many answers to read them all. She is a lovely person. She has quite severe Aspergers syndrome from what I can gether, just wanted you to know. I love her to bits, and she does get very down about it at times. Thanks for helping her.
