Hey Molotok. I am amazing. I wander into this place every once in a great while out of curiosity, but at this point I still don’t see me ever really coming back. It is nice to see a familiar face in my shout box. I hope that your world is a wonderful place. You can send me any email anytime. I have not been very good at keeping up with most of the friends I have made here, except for one who I interact with almost everyday. There are so many amazing people here who I wish I knew in real life, but it is always sad how when we move on from places we always lose contact with great people. I would love to hear from you. :)
Hi Max!
Sorry for being unattentive, but I’m working on some quotations and thus away from the world, for days.
Yes, I followed your link and I became a Campbell Brown fan at once. I am totally allergic to mobs and mob behaviour, and that is why I supported Cooper’s shout. I think it is one of the most important things to teach kids, to be able to step out of a group to get an overview, make his/her own assessment and stick to that.
I am sorry to hear you are not well, I wish that you get better really fast! I’d like to talk to you more. I asked you about Ames because I miss her too, but I got a reply on a mail to her so all is fine there. I will write to her.
Sure, the winter is here. We had 10 cm snow for a week, but it is almost gone again. It was snowing again today, but the days are mixed snow and rain, freezing at nights. Really nice…! :-(
I think it is time for me to write one of my very few posts again. I get so pi**ed by this so called “depression”, which is most artificial and self-spiralling. If people stopped reading newspapers and turned off their TV’s, the depression would be only half as big. Yes, banks and other money wizards have failed and it will affect many of us. But most of the depression does not lay in any substance, but in expectations. Thus the self-spiralling.
Because of that, it may even have time to get deeper before January when Obama is taking over. So I think part of his inaguration speech is already written, 75 years ago.
(citation):
“Only a foolish optimist can deny the dark realities of the moment. Yet our distress comes from no failure of substance. We are stricken by no plague of locusts. Compared with the perils which our forefathers conquered because they believed and were not afraid, we have still much to be thankful for. Nature still offers her bounty and human efforts have multiplied it. Plenty is at our doorstep, but a generous use of it languishes in the very sight of the supply. Primarily this is because the rulers of the exchange of mankind’s goods have failed, through their own stubbornness and their own incompetence, have admitted their failure, and abdicated. Practices of the unscrupulous money changers stand indicted in the court of public opinion, rejected by the hearts and minds of men.
True they have tried, but their efforts have been cast in the pattern of an outworn tradition. Faced by failure of credit they have proposed only the lending of more money. Stripped of the lure of profit by which to induce our people to follow their false leadership, they have resorted to exhortations, pleading tearfully for restored confidence. They know only the rules of a generation of self-seekers. They have no vision, and when there is no vision the people perish.”
(end citation)
But the more important parts of that speech are those looking forward.
The speech is short, and I wish that people could spend those slightly less than 20 minutes on listening to it.

If we are only looking for and talking about Doom’s Day, we will get it faster!
Hey Molotok! I have talked with Ames recently and she is doing good. She is so estatic over the Obama win! I am not sure when she will be back, but I will tell her you asked about her. I have been very sick for over a week. I have a very nasty virus, the doctore says bronchitis, I just can’t shake. I just can’t wait to feel better again. I agree with Cooper about the blame game. Check out the link below, because I think Campell Brown sums it up better than I can:
Hrm… I sneaked a peak into the cooper shout below, and I agree with that.
But Max, how are you?
I know you have been quite busy lately. I must congratulate you to the result of the election. I think it was a good choice. Time will tell if it gives you a worthy healthcare situation, and improvements on education.
I also wonder if you know what happened to Ames. I can’t find her, and I miss her!
Well, I am soso OK.
I believe that people, at least those I talk to, are quite aware of what is happening in the USA.
I am pretty tired of the elections by now. One thing I don’t like is that you cannot be elected without loads of money.
:) Hey Molotok!
hahahahaha! That was very funny. Everything is pretty hetic in my life, but good. How are you?
Is the U.S. Presedential election getting much coverage in Europe?
Hi, thanks for the shout! Hehe, I did not take that Maxi stuff seriously either. And I am basically OK, except for that the stuff I indicated before isn’t easy… but I did not expect it to be. Then my job sucks, too. But I am OK.
I hope that you will be fine in that relation of yours. I tried to say something in your post a few times, but I could have spared the effort because I did not even exist, among you girl talkers… hehe.
Molotok :) How are you doing? You can call me Maxi and I promise not to kick you. TJ is one of my closest friends here and he has always called me Max, so it just seems weird when he calls me Maxi. I just shouted him to give him a hard time in jest. I didn’t expect him to say anything about it on his serious post.
Heya Maxi!
My connection is lousy, esp the help pages will not load. I am fine, but looking for another job. The job is funny, but I a fedup being alone in this place. I haven’t seen the entire world yet! :-)
I hope you are OK as well, and that things turns out good for you.
But now I’ll have to rush for work!
See you later,
Hugs!
Good morning!
I’m a bit ill but speeding to work anyway.
Yes, I also told Florie that there had been that serious part of the Viagra stuff but she asked, so I told about the too-much-joke (hehe) too.
See you in a while!
Hey Molotok. I saw your comment on Florie’s post. I just want to clarify that my post about McCain and Viagra was more about him supporting insurance companies paying for Viagra, but he refused to support them paying for birth control. Yes, I made joke about it, but there was suppose to be a serious message in my post.
I thought I did invite you to the seconod one. I meant to! You are one of the people that are on the top of my list when I need emotional support. When I didn’t see you reply, I thought to myself that I must of messed up and not invited you. Trust me I would of loved your advice on that post!!!!
*More hugs for Molotok*
And I am sorry not being there for you, with those two posts. I simply did not see them!
But please write to me, or invite me.
You know I am your friend and I want to be there for you when you need me. Like sharing bad stuff as well as nice stuff!
Hugs!
Puppies are soooo cute!!!! I find that as people get older, what makes them cute is their soul, so I have no doubt that you are a very cute individual. There is this teacher at my school who is in his late fifties. I am not attracted to him, but he is so cute because of his personality! I find the longer you know someone, the harder it is to judge them based on physical appearances. :D
That small boy?
Hehe, it is I, Molotok himself, but 50 years before I grew through my hair.
Should I put my present pic, I’d probably get banned.
Luckily enough, my kids are as cute.
Lol
