Don’t do it. Think about the rest of your life. You havn’t even graduated highschool. Kids don’t need to be raising kids, and besides all that there are enough people on this plantet as it is.

I’m in the same boat, except I’m the older sis who cares for her younger sis due to alcohol related problems. I also am dealing with alcoholism, but a number of events about 6 months ago made me snap out of my heaving drinkng, one being my dad no longer being able to care for my sister(because he’s an alcoholic) and her moving in with me. I also did not want to be what we were getting away from, so I quit drinking. I still feel a lot of pressure, and sometimes it does build up, but I’ve learned that it’s not all about me. It takes communication. My sister knows what I’m going through; we talk about it all the time. You have to get through to your brother and tell him how it’s affecting you, how it’s screwing you up because he’s acting just like your dad. You have to remind him of all the pain and suffering it causes, and that you are probably all he’s got and vice versa.

I love my father but he is an alcoholic. I can’t stand him when he is drunk. That’s why I don’t live with him, and I try to only talk to him early in the morning so he hasn’t had a chance to drink himself into a stupor. But he’s still my dad and I love him, and I can’t just get rid of him. But this boyfriend is expendable. You can’t help anyone who doesn’t want your help or doesn’t think they have a problem. I can leave my dads house and go on with my life, but a boyfriend you are probably planning on actually spending time with him and that is quite difficult when you can’t stand him half the time. People who havn’t lived with (or dealt with) an alcoholic can’t quite grasp the pain it causes. Don’t let his problem ruin your life.

Well, you sound kinda young, and as someone who lost their virginity at a young age, my advice would be to wait it out a lot more. There are many things to take into consideration when it comes to sex, not just getting pregnant. You have to think about STD’s, especially HIV. And it might seem like the time is right, but it definitly couldn’t hurt to think about it a lot more. I can tell you from experience I wish I had waited until I was at least 18. Like I said it’s not just pregnancy you have to worry about. Please just think about it and don’t rush, you have your whole life ahead of you.

Please don’t do it! I was 18 when I moved in with my boyfriend of 3 years, and it just went downhill from there. Your going to hate him when it’s all over, and most likely he will hate you too. You will not have your own life at all! It seems like a little fairy tale for a while, and it’s fun “playing house” for a few months, but when it all sets in you will see those things that you can’t see when you don’t spend every waking hour with one person. You are so young and you have so many boys to meet still. Have you even thought of having a life on your own before you live your life based on someone else? Please just don’t make a rash decision and then have nowhere to go when you want to leave. And whatever you do keep your bank accounts SEPARATE!
