  n)and so forth
  3)The earth, the sun, and the center of the galaxy will align, as per the Mayan astronomical prediction.
  4)The following day, the earth, the sun, and the center of the galaxy will fall out of alignment, and begin the next galactic cycle.

  What you are feeling is a result of hormonal, chemical reactions causing an emotional cascade in the brain. That’s why we call it “chemistry”.
  
  Relationships are not about this oh-so-amazing “chemistry” you speak of. That bounce-off-the-wall feeling you’re experiencing right now lasts anywhere from 2 months to a year at most in a romantic relationship. After that, the hormones rebalance as you re-establish a normal routine and get used to this or that or the other amazing lady in your head.
  
  Relationships are about work. You sacrifice your own desires for the sake of the person you love. By “love”, I mean the conscious choice to put someone before yourself, not the giddy absurdity you’re describing in your post.
  
  Be very careful with that emotional reaction. If you get addicted to the high it creates, you will find yourself in one empty relationship after another, changing girls faster than some guys change their socks, because you don’t realize that what you’re after isn’t “the right one”, but “a new one”, because you’re not after a relationship, but a drug-like buzz from your own hormones.

  Love that answer. People are far too easily offended, both on and off the Internet. As a Christian, who went through a stint of atheism before accepting my faith, I can understand both sides of the argument, but what is very commonly suggested is that a religious vacuum is somehow “objective and neutral”. It’s not. Forbidding religious commentary is just as suppressive as the “pound the pulpit” Jesus-freak who demands your fealty to Jesus Christ at every opportunity.
  
  I say, let all the ideas air, and let the open market decide which ones are rubbish and which ones are not. If someone is being a jerk about their faith or lack of faith, then their words will speak for themselves, and people will simply ignore him as a zealot that no one listens to. Thus, the free market of ideas will place a low value on his ideas, likely because his ideas are dumb. But he should still be allowed to air them.
