be realistic, wishing the impossible
I was born in 1960. At the age of 7 i startet to go to school. Bevor this they had to make a surgery with my eyes. Sorry for my bad english, but i’am no native english speaker. My eyes are still not good, they dont look in the same direction. In school i was very good the first years, but after this a was very bad, because i couldnt see what the teacher was writting. I never managed to tell this someone, so everyone thought i was stuppid. When i was about 18 years old, i bought a small motorcycle. Today i have no idea how i managed to drive it without an fatal accident. After ending school with mature i had to join the army (Infantery with tank). It was terrible. Then i started studing electrotecnics on university. At the age of 26 i had a little accident with a boat. I lost my eyeglasses. I went to a eye-doctor and he adjusted my new glasses. At this time i first could see the world around me sharp. Then some years after finishing university with an engeneer titel, i got a job in a electronic company and i’am still doing. I spend a lot of time programming 6809 and 8051 in assembler. Also i can help in electronics. I choose my nickname dollmator, because a company dolmar invited a motorcycle with 24 chainsaw-motors, called dolmete. I hope i can do parachute licence, but doctor says NO because my eyes. I read many books about artic expeditions, moutain climbing and voyages to far away countries. To prepare i started my own one person five hours expedition to the source of the river called fulde. I dont think you could find it on the detail map, it’s only 2 meters from one side to the other. I survived, but nearly lost my shoes in the swamp. Maybe i should writte a book. If you want me on your expedition, dont be afraid, ask me, and i’ll be on your side. In 2002 i sailled from Koper (Slowenia) to Athen (Greece). I like to watch films about history, animals and expeditions. As i have readed this again i think it is a little bit funny. So i’am. :-)
