my bf smokes - it didn’t bother me when I met him, in fact I love the smell and it is kinda sexy if it goes with the personality type. I wish he would quit cause I want him healthy, but it doesn’t make a difference to me when it comes to choosing who to be with.

well I would have recommended sticking it out at school cause honestly nobody I know has ever liked middle school or junior high. Everyone feels out of place, everyone feels like people and teachers are mean, nobody seems to really like it much. But, since you have already left the school there are a couple things. First - your grandma is not your responsibility. You’re 13, you’re still a kid and it’s not up to you so don’t put that on yourself or make yourself deal with those problems. Honestly, someone else will step in and take over where you let up. You’re only a kid and they shouldn’t expect it of you. Second, your best option is probably to give your friends a reason for you being home schooled (tell them you had family problems or something that made it necessary) and talk to your parents about returning to regular school either next year or when you start high school. High school is much better than middle school (mind you nothing is ever awesome, but it’s better). You should also talk to someone about how you’re feeling. Don’t deal with it alone when you can get support from family and friends. I wish I had done that sooner…
