Hi Poppa!
Wow, so great to get your hello? You’ve had many people worried–you too seemed to have dropped out of sight for a while.
Hope you and Momma Bear and cubs are doing OK.

Well, it’s been interesting and exciting up here in Dease Lake. My pastor from Cloverdale and a visiting Irish prophet named Brendan McAuley drove a 1997 Chrysler Intrepid up for me. It was a gift from one of the women in our church. So I know have wheels–and I love my new car! It’s pale blue and gorgeous–and I love the name. INTREPID for God!
There is likely a team of people from my church driving up the thousand miles to Dease Lake for two Gospel Music Festivals at the end of June into July. Lots of comings and goings. So far I haven’t had time to feel
alone.
It’s all been good. I get my emails at the Northern Lights College on Mondays to FRidays.
Haven’t had a whole lot of time to go onto Help.com

However, sure appreciate seeing your name pop up today. Thanks for thinking of me.
Love to hear how your life is going.
Blessings and love,

Thanx for the shout my friend.
The family is all doing ok. We were out at the Pow wow in Chilliwack on the Easter weekend and had a good time. The kids got spoiled by the Easter bunny and had fun hunting for eggs. I’m glad to hear you enjoying your surroundings up in the great white north. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Papa Bear: It’s me again. Hope you got my sign-off post a few weeks ago. I left for Whitehorse Monday nite and today I am in Carcross, Yukon Territories. Absolutely amazingly gorgeous country. Still about eighteen inches of snow on the ground. Very pleasantly warm in the sunshine–cold at night. However, the big surprise was last night it was still full daylight at 8PM. I don’t think dusk came until about 10PM. Kind of nice to have such amazing evening hours.
I’m sure glad I missed the winter–so many hours of darkness would be really hard–altho” I wonder how different it would be compared to Vancouver? It’s just a different kind of ‘gray’ compacted into shorter hours?!
(don’t try and figure that one out!)

Yes, I hear the bears are indeed coming out of their dens in the Territories! So how are you and Mama and clan doing? Well, I hope.
Hope you are all well and flourishing!

Will likely be ten days or so until I have regular access to a computer in Dease Lake or the time to become a regular again at Help.com

Looking forward to it! Anyway, just saying ‘hi’ from the northcountry and God bless you all.

Love,
holly eden

Please keep me in your prayers! Would appreciate them.

Thank you for the blessings. What wacky weather we are having. The one or two sunny periods earlier this week were not long enough, and the forecast does not look any better for the near future. Fortunately we are above the flood line but being on the mountain I think we get more rain! I hope you are staying dry over there. We will have to see if we can get a sundance going to scare away theses clouds. One of my little ones and I went for a walk in the rain, and saw the daffodils are in bloom and the pretty pink petals of the flowering cherry trees are out as well. Spring is on it’s way! Have a super weekend and we look forward to chatting with you soon.

Papa Bear: Hope your cave is situated on a high hill in Bby! Looking pretty ‘wet’ on tonite’s news. Rainboots and hat weather for all the little bears.
Hope you are all well–no sniffles or flu.
Blessings! Hope you have an awesome weekend.

Hello there my friend! I hope you had a fantastic day.
What a beautiful day on the wet coast. I heard the robins singing their morning song and just knew it was going to be a nice day, and it was. I see you and Matt are getting close that is good, he can use your spiritual guidance. I’m sure you are able to lift up Jonettas spirits as well. So you like my pictures, I find them using google image search, then I use an embedding code to post them onto replies and in shoutboxes. Hope you have a good evening.

hi Papa: kind of late for me tonite. Where do you get the wonderful flowers and teddies you send to people?
They are delightful. Was just reading Jonetta’s site and found the little pink bear. So sweet.
Keep praying for our friend! Hope all is well with you and the bear clan.
God bless!

I’m glad to hear Gramma JuJube had a good time on the island! 26 months what a great age, I bet you had just as good a time as she did.lol. One more on the way, your little Miss will like to have a baby brother.
We are all doing okay thank you for asking.
Heading north eh, are you working for IANA?
Mama Bear and I have a lot of relatives who work there.

Papa: My trip to the Island was wonderful. I have a 26 month old granddaughter who is amazing. I am Gramma
JuJube to a winsome miss who has stolen my heart forever! and my second grandchild, a little boy is due at the end of this month
(march).
I’m thrilled. I will take a flying trip over to the Island one more time to have the precious opportunity to hold my first
grandson before leaving for northern BC to live for some time. SNIFF, SNIFF!
My daughter and I went on a pub crawl one glorious afternoon–we started in Sooke at
Six Mile Pub; then drove to Ladysmith and went to my MOST favorite pub The Crow and Gate. (gorgeous place!summer or winter you can’t beat it!) and then we ended up in her restaurant where she is head chef and had a sushi fest for dinner. My daughter did the drinking and I was the designated driver.
We had a blast.
Anyway, thanks for asking. How are all the little bears and Momma doing? Well I hope.
Quiet weekend–back to normal again tomorrow I guess.
Blessings.

PapaBear: thank you for the lovely roses.
They truly were gorgeous! Actually the only ones I received today. What a lovely thought.
Hope you are out of your cave and have taken your Moma Bear out to raid some of the local honeycaves in the area. What a dreadfully rainy cold night–awful traffic tonight I saw on local news!
Hope you are now tucked into your cave with your cubs–
cinnamon hearts and cocoa all around!
Happy Valentines Day, Papa and family.

Hi Papa Bear! Haven’t seen you around for a bit. Could be me that’s missing in action. The laptop computer I use at my new ‘digs’ is a tiny bit ‘off’. It likes to eat emails just as I’m about to send them off. Really irks me!
How are you and your crew doing? Foggy and clear this afternoon. Nice day all in all out here. Love the pictures of bears
put in for you on Qzzzz’s site. Specially
“i’m not a bear.” Love your hat.

Papa–I need a cold shower! That guy “I am looking for a female that is w……” needs
help; interested in a guy’s take on his request.
Some good old Canadian etiquette needs to be drilled in his noggin!
How are you guys doin’? Hope you’re having a lovely weekend in Burnaby. I’ve moved from Cloverdale to 18th and King George (approx). Staying with an old friend and her husband. The home I was in was overloaded with people sleeping on mattresses on the floor. Too much confusion, noise.
I’m supposed to be filling up my spiritual love tank to get ready to go up north in April. So I am officially on holiday until then. My friends here said “no expectations”. Isn’t that cool?
Anyway, God bless you guys. Look to hear a shout when you can.

how ya doin’? sure was nice to see the sun shining today! Actually got out and went for a walk in Ocean Park.

How is Momma and baby bear(s) doing? You don’t have much time left to hybernate–it almost felt like spring today. Soon you’ll be awakening cranky–thin, and with a new cub or two to raise!

How ya doing, Papa? How is every thing in your neck of the woods. Hope all your cubs and woman-bear are doing fine.
Gorgeous day again. Brrrr! I’m moving from Cloverdale to a friends’ home in South Surrey today. I may not be on line until tomorrow.

Hi papa: Wow, what a day in Vancouver! was no snow in cloverdale this morning when I headed into Vanc. However by the time I disembarked off Broadway station Skytrain I found myself standing in my running shoes in four inches of slush and a river running across Commercial Drive.
It is 3:41am and the wind is just howling tonight. I was being blown off the sidewalk almost coming home tonight.
Sure hope you guys are all tucked in safe and sound–no branches fallen in wrong places.
It’s amazing our power didn’t go off today.

Must have been difficult getting two young cubs into your trunk–black or grizzly?

Santa is pleased! A candy cane, a tiny jug of maple syrup from Quebec, five oranges, 3 X 649’s will be rolled up tied with a red ribbon (now that will keep the U.S. people guessing) and a jug of _______ will be found in the toe of your stocking.

O thank you, Poppa Bear. Yes, isn’t it though. Time doesn’t change grief. It just happens less frequently. Heaven help us, (and it does) when we fall into it periodically.
blessings to you and your family during this season. May you find your way to Bethlehem’s stable–there is comfort there and so much hope. I’ll see you there.
God bless you! and thanks for caring to answer. It means a lot.
When you are able to, perhaps you’d like to answer the post on how you’ve coped.

Is there a special way you can honor your Dad this Christmas? I know some years I sent away to “Operation Eyesight” and for $30.00 a blind person in India received eye surgery, glasses and their sight back. Priceless! The doctor who started Operation Eyesight in South India was Ben’s grandfather, Dr. Ben Gullison and I knew Ben would have been thrilled with this gift.
On other occasions I gave a shirt and jeans to a young fellow who worked in my store, and so forth.
I’ll bet you might do something special and your family might be able to join you in this.
blessings.
