• Can anyone tell me why do we demonize our leaders, and glorify our entertainers?
  

  It’s easy to be harsh on our leaders, because people account blame for almost all the troubles in their lives on them. It’s just that simple.
  Between medical insurance and expenses, to costs of food, housing, oil, to taxes, wars, our education system or lack therof, not enough funding for diseases, too much funding for things that don’t necessarily need it, etc.
  It’s not hard to understand why, really. Leaders have more of an impact on our lives and our standard of living, and it is easier to blame others for our hardships, whether or not they are actually accountable for them.
  
  Entertainers, they stand out as heroes. They are usually beautiful, wealthy, and appear to be living dream lives, despite that they are not. Besides, people like to fantasize, people like to think they could be that wealthy, or seemingly loved and adored, or beautiful, famous person. It gives them a comforting, simple, false hope. It’s the daydreamers quick fix. It is easy to confuse reality when you are watching them in movies, or on TV, on stage, or listening to them in concert. You see them primped and primed, smiling, and can’t forget they earned 2.2 million on their last film/book/CD.
  Entertainers don’t really do a lot to make life hard for common people, and it’s easy for people to get caught up in the romanticism involved around them.
  
  I am lucky enough to view people as people, nothing more. I treat everyone the same, regardless of what their profession is.
  
  Maybe we just need to get our leaders some stylists?
  Seriously though, human nature, it’s more about what you look like than what you are saying. Sad, but that is where most people place importance, and let’s face it our entertainers are far more pleasing to the eye than our leaders. I don’t think if our supermarket tabloids, internet websites, and news were pumped with politicians they’d become more popular.

• How would you run things if you ran the country.
  

  Well I think people who talk a lot are usually just that… all talk. That doesn’t mean, of course that there aren’t people with some really brilliant ideas on how to make positive changes in the way our country is run.
  
  
  I’d write all my ideas which I have been whirling around in my head throughout my lifetime in response to your post if I thought it was useful, but it’d be a waste of my time to write it and a waste of anyone else’s to read it.
  I’ll just post one of my favourites; I believe we need to have harder discipline for criminals. That they should work, every person jailed and in prison should work to repay society. I’d like to see them farming and building homes, the labors of which to provide food and shelter for those who need it. Not only wouldd it help our poor, but perhaps it would deter a few crimes from even happening.
  Of course, wishful thinking. Either way I think it’s a lot better than just sitting about wasting away as punishment.

  To each his own.
  
  Vengence doesn’t sound particularly attractive to me, though. I’d say it’s the weaker route. But, that is, of course entirely my own opinion.
  Reserving love for those who deserve it doesn’t sound that reasonable to my senses either. But everyone has their own reservations. I think everyone is entitled to the same, without bounds, again just my opinion.
  
  You know, of course, you don’t need to go find someone elses set ideals and beliefs, you could simply follow your own. I was never for playing follow the leader myself, so I find any organized belief hard to swallow.

  Seriously? No.
  Any diet does not make a person follow any kind of fashion style.

  Have a check-up.
  
  It could not be related at all, but your hands may be suffering from tension, like carpal tunnel, and your calves could just be tingling from poor circulation. Do you spend long periods of time sitting at a desk?
  
  Diseases, like fibromyalgia, and other muscularskeleto diseases often come with a dozen more symptoms and intense pain that makes moving unbearable. I wouldn’t worry, just make a Dr. appointment.
