• I’m a recently divorced 32 year-old man.
  

  I went through my divorce almost four years ago. Even thou I am the one who left the marriage due to not being happy, I went to my moments of guilt and loneliness. I want to tell you it gets better and you will meet that special someone soon.
  
  LONELY PATH
  
  Lonely, the path I have chosen.
  Waiting for the woman of my dream,
  With gaping heart, I await the possibilities.
  A journey of hope for my true love;
  Turning back will not be a choice.
  
  Platonic friendship is not enough.
  For the right time, I have to wait.
  Regrets, I want to diminish.
  Lonely days with activities to forget,
  Lonely path, continued.
  
  Waiting on romance to appear;
  From darkness to light for the everlasting;
  Anticipation of the celebration of nuptial ceremony,
  Following my heart, I will persist.

  Your vision I can’t put out of sight.
  
  No matter what I do,
  I can’t stop wondering how we could have been.
  My days are in a haze; my heart lack of steel.
  My lips stitch from professing your esteem.
  My nights, however, I get to create a forged realism.
  
  No matter what I do,
  I can’t erase you.
  I will gather enough courage not to create rue.
  Today, with overt sentiments I confess.

• Im getting tried of life and just want to end it all.
  

  Don’t give up all your challenges are for just a brief moment, things change fast and it will always get better, just look for it and you will start to see it.
  
  Be Still
  
  When troubled waters come with giant waves,
  Be still,
  When deficient affluence brings anxiousness,
  Be still,
  When thoughts of lack want to take hold of your soul,
  Be still,
  When romance seems to have escaped you,
  Be still,
  When others chatter untrue declarations about you,
  Be still,
  And when ailing moments come,
  Be still,
  Be still, for the Deity knows.
  Be still, for obstacles are temporary.
  Be still, for you were created to live a life of abundance.
  Be still, for you are protected by God’s angels.
  Be still, for if you believe, the light will be at your side at all times.
  However, a life of righteousness, you have to live.
  Practice tongue of praise, instead of condemnation.
  And then, be still, and watch the blessings.

  At Times
  
  
  At times, fear of the unknown hovers over me.
  At times, economic strains, I allow to be.
  At times, occupational insecurities win.
  At times, I am tired of this solitary existence with no one to lean on.
  At times, I feel a life with abundance is sinking.
  At times, I feel a life with lack is staying.
  At times, I overlook the power of my thinking.
  At times, I forget the existence of the divine being.
  As I narrate these sentiments, I allow the piercing of fear.
  Enduring this battle daily for many years,
  Trust in the Deity, I have to reaffirm.
  My being is inclusively in his hand, to be formed,
  Because fear, fear I want to crush.
  At times, however, many weaknesses are giving me a push.
  At times, practicing positive affirmation gives relief.
  Life challenges I have encountered before with triumph.
  So, with that, I know a life of abundance is mine.
  Sensation of the unknown is fine.
  Consciousness of the Deity will help me thrive.
  At times, fear of the unknown hovers over me.
  At times, economic strains, I allow to be.
  Today, I merge with God for a serene existence.
