It was so nice to get a hello from you. I’ve been gone a long time it is true. And there are so many changes here on Help.com. Anyhow, the insurance business is treating me well. Plus, in other news, my wife is pregnant and I am expecting a daughter in December. This will be our first child after 11 years of marriage. Quite a big change! We’re already looking for a house with more space than our current condominium arrangement. So there’s all kinds of excitement in my life. I do hope all is well with you!

Thanks for letting me know about the shouts from Ntalon. Actually, I suspect it is the same person as Rose13. (They share the same IP address). I have to say I’m not terribly pleased about being a racist, but I don’t take it seriously. It’s awfully hard to be accused of that when I have no idea about anybody’s race on this site. And for that matter, nobody knows mine. I could very easily share Rose13’s race.

CM, we received several shouts today from NTalon asking us why Rose13 was banned for speaking her mind and animal was not. We told we have no idea and they asked us if CM is racist. If you want read the shouts

C.M., We don’t visit the chat room that often but we were invited by evil girl the last time and went from a fun conversation to something pretty ugly. We hit the flag a couple of times. Also we have told others to hit the red flag. Thanks!!!!

Hmm. Personally, I never saw these warnings about Evil girl and Lucky 105. I’ll see if the other moderators saw your reports. We might have a bug here. Either way, if you see the violation in future, we’ll try to investigate what is being said.

CM, we do click the red flag and nothing ever seems to be done about these people or their conversations. They get quite explicit most of the time and kids like listy have no business being in there.

I saw a shout you left somebody else about Evil girl and Lucky 105 making sexually suggestive comments in the chatroom. If you see this again, click the red flag to alert us moderators about this violation of the chat rules.

In the past, we logged out once, then came back on line 12-16 hours later and found we were still logged in. Now we log out, go back, log out again, go back log out again, close windows as we go until everything is closed.

Problems logging out? I haven’t heard of that one before. Jeff (aka ChuySkywalker), our webmaster, should handle this question. I’ve asked him to investigate…

Hi, C.M., We have a problem logging out. It seems we have to log out repeatedly for it to be effective. Have you heared of such a problem?

At any rate, if we are dealing with the same trolls from Saturday, they are using a different computer and IP address. I’ll probably just keep blocking their IP addresses until they finally run out of new computers to use. The process never ends really… Thanks for the reports!

Worried about the younger folks? Ironically, I think that post you reported to me about was written by one of our “impressionable” younger folks. They aren’t always so innocent.

Actually, I try to delete any posts from people offering to broker loans. I just can’t trust them to be honest business operations. If you see any more examples of these, please let me no so I can delete the ads. As always, thanks!
