This is 5 days late - but you asked me about becoming a moderator. For the time being, moderators come from the employee ranks of CNET Networks. We aren’t using any volunteers from the public. At least not yet. If you are interested just keep being involved with the community - and let ChuySkywalker know about your interest. That way he can let you know if we ever start giving trusted users some moderator powers.

As it happens, I am no longer a moderator. I switched jobs and no longer work for CNET (the Help.com parent company). Now I sell insurance. Imagine that - it’s quite the radical career change! ;)

I do enjoy hearing from you and I’m happy to help answer any question you send me an invite to, but these days I’m so busy with my new job I only visit Help.com once a week. So be prepared for delays…
