  Yes, I see. And let me just say that true love is doing exactly what you have done, by sacrificing yourself. However, there gets to a point when you can no longer do it and we must admit defeat and I am extremely sorry to say move on completely.
  
  But have you spoken to him recently? May I ask his thoughts? And also, you don’t have to tell me but, if you both put so much effort in this relationship think on why this previous attempt failed. It could be the past is poisoning any future you could have with him. Because, another cliche taken for granted when couples try once again is you HONESTLY have to let go of the past in order for it to work, and you have to seriously question whether you can forgive each other and take a step foward. Sometimes the pain is too deep and we can’t, EVEN AS MUCH AS YOU BOTH WANT TO.
  
  This is the problem: can you two move foward emotionaly after all that has happened? Wanting it just might not be enough. . .

  okay, you have to be honest with her. I mean you seriously have to tell her that you still have strong feelings for her, and that you want to get back together. Your next step depends on her response.
  
  If she says she still has romantic feelings for you, congrats you still have a chance! From there work on your insecurities and the relationship.
  
  However, if she says you guys are still broken up well then you need time apart before you can go back to being friends again. Here is the reason why, if you keep doing the same things as you did when you were together then you won’t feel like the relationship is over, meaning you will still be attached. Not to mention, if she starts dating someone else you will be extremely hurt because you haven’t taken the time to mourn the end of your romantic relationship with her. It sounds hard, because I know you probably want to spend anytime with her since you still care about her but you will only get hurt further if you do.

  I understand,
  if you follow my replies you will find an anonymous post I wrote last night, which is very similar to your own. We just somehow end up back with them. I deeply undestand how you feel to a painful level, but I also see what is wrong.
  
  I don’t want to offend you, it hurts my ego to even admit this to myself but I believe we return in fear of being alone. And I know how hard this is, and you are looking for the strength to walk away not justification. We miss the connection we once had, and fear we will never feel it again but are ashamed of these feelings. I could be wrong, but if I am right feel free to contact me, I would love to explore this further.

  Yeah, dude, I am all for helping you until I re-read this.
  I am sorry but how could you expect to be treated with respect when you are disrespecting this girl that you are “taken” by.
  
  You are paranoid, maybe with good reason by your ex’s but it also seems as though maybe you mistreat your girls. No one, including you, wantes to be lied to. So, if you like this new girl break up with your current girlfriend. THEN, tell this girl you went on a “friend date” with that you really like her but are concerned if she is talking to you for all the wrong reasons.
  
  And a fair warning, try to play these (or any) girls,on the route you’re on and I promise you will miss out on ever finding a deep connection with someone.

  Okay, First off you don’t have to answer any of these questions to anyone but yourself. And the key here is you HAVE to be COMPLETELY HONEST with yourself, this isn’t easy but if you think your life and happiness depend on it you have to do it.
  
  1)Regardless of anyone else (your family) do you love him? Now, surely you are thinking “of coure I do” but I’m serious a truly deep connection that you would sacrifice yourself for him?
  
  2)If you still think you do, start writing a list of the things you love about HIM. Sooner or later, you’ll find out your real intentions with him, ei. if you love him or if he is an escape. Write this list down before you read my post any further, otherwise its easy to trick your mind… take your time!
  
  Now how you can tell is if the things you have listed are unique to him, like you love the way he is caring, NOT you like the way he cares about you. If you need further examples simply ask.
  
  As for marriage, long distance is very difficult but TRUE LOVE always waits until you are ready, not being sure doesn’t mean you don’t love him any less just you are being smart and trying to figure out what is best for you both.
