In every way. I could ask anything, including for my personal problem that I couldn’t ask people around me. And I get the answer almost right away. Even though they’re not professionals or they’re not always understand what we’ve been through, just by writing it down and see someone responding it, somehow it makes me feels better. Plus, some replies are really good and touched me.

you can’t change your father. but a “father-figure” doesn’t always come from your father. it could be from ur grandpa, uncle, husband, or man friend. my dad abandoned me since i was 3, he didn’t admit me as his daughter. unlike your problem, which is a lot harder than mine, i believe, he’s not abuse me but he’s neglecting me. i never got that “father-figure” from him. my step father is “father-figure” for me. even though he’s already apologized and tried so everything works with me, i never see him as a father figure for me, i mean, i’m also already forgave him. but the father figure just never be on him. we can’t change our father, but we can always choose a person who we think has “father-figure” criteria.

It’s so true, songs or poems also could lift me up a little bit through each day. It’s already 4 years I’ve been living this way. Maybe same with you guys, I also have difficulties to talk about it to my family or my friends.I don’t know what holds me back. I don’t know where to start. Still trying to keep holding on though. Still trying.
