The wind blows the cold misty sea water into you’re face. You blink as a man’s silhouette becomes visible through the fog. The smell of diesel fuel and fish gut fills you’r nostrils. It stings but you keep walking down the dock. Each bored creeks as it is pressed down onto the aging frame. You wonder if you should of even come but before you know it you are behind the man. He turns. Smoke blows from his mouth as he pulls his cigar away. The smoke dances through his beard, as it dissipates. “What do you want?” He says in a deep rough voice. You’r voice cracks as you respond. “I…i’m here to help” “Me too” he says as he puffs his cigar. “Me too”
