I have been involved in developing Data Recovery for Mac OS X for 2 years. The program is able to restore files emptied from Trash Mac. Also it is a care recovery for mac which can recover SD mac, Mac USB Recovery and do a good Mac compact flash card recovery without any problem. However, the first thing you should do it stop saving more files to that hard dirve. Mac OS X overwrites free space very quickly thus there is a possibility that your deleted files will be covered if you keep using it. Then check if you have backup, if yes just rely on Time Machine to restore to a previous point and everything will back to original and so is your deleted files.
