I need help. I’m in love with a man that I can’t seem to get over. He and I can never be together, I know that, but I can’t make myself stop loving him. It has been close to 20 yrs now and I should be over it, but for some reason I just can’t let go. I refuse to go around him, because that just makes it harder, but even when I don’t see him, I still think of him every day and dream of him nearly everynight. I once went 6 years without seeing him even in passing, but it didn’t help. I don’t know what else to try.
