  Hi there! I got a lecture, yet again…. He was so rude to me..
  
  When I went in there and ( naturally ) had to wait forever for the PA to come in, he said: “What are you doing?” No joke, first thing out of his mouth.
  
  Then I said, ” Excuse me?” He repeated himself again and I replied, ” With what?”
  
  He chose to go off on me about how I was ” doing hillbilly heroin; I am going to lose my life, my child, my husband, etc.”
  
  First of all, ” hillbilly Heroin” is oxycodone, not lortab. So, I was pretty pissed. He would not stop going on and on.
  
  So, I asked him if he has even seen my MRI. He said, ” Oh yes, I saw it. Why don’t you get a surgery done?”
  
  Then I explained to him that I have a 1-year-old at home and everyone I knew that has done surgery regrets it. He then said, oh yeah I don’t agree with surgery anyway.
  
  WTF? If he doesn’t agree with it, then why in the hell would he suggest it?
  
  So, long story short, I asked him in his ” career ” (LOL) with people having my type of issues, what has he seen; how fast does it get worse or does it get better. Then he says (rudely), ” What do I look like, a fortune teller?!?”
  
  I really need to find a new doctor.

  S- spine is the Sacral spine, just below the Lumbar. I took Anatomy and Physiology. Trust me, it is there. =) There are five vertebrae in the sacral spine. I attached a link that shows it. I do have a huge cyst on S2. This is very real.

  Take some deep breaths before going in to the interview room and try to focus on an object. Even if you bring in a pen or something like that; focus on it when you feel nervous. Obviously, while in interview, you shouldn’t stare at it, but keep it in your hand and just hold it. Good luck! I am sure you will do great! Also, it helps to take about ten seconds before answering any questions they have for you; this shows them that you are actually thinking about what they are asking.

  I like that idea! Unfortunately the Dr. that actually owns the practice got introuble because he was writing Oxy’s to anyone (read: 20-somethings with no Hx of physical problems) that would walk in the door. So, he lost his DEA license to script for Narcotic pain meds.
  
  I only take 2-3 Lortabs a day (depending on pain); Soma when needed and Xanax 1 time a day before bed to keep the pain from waking me up.
  
  I have SIX herniated/bulging discs, five narrowed neroforaminal areas throughout my vertebrae, forward neck posture, a tumor the size of a small apple on my S2 and scoliosis.
  
  I have done 8 months of PT, Chiro, injections, etc. Does it sounds like I am a pill junkie? Seriously? Because that is the way that jerk PA treated me!!! =(

  Baby-sitting, dog walking, help the elderly with grocery shopping (charge per hour); sell some things on eBay with your parent’s permission and help, of course! Good luck! My childhood consisted of hand-me-down clothing and NO lessons of ANY kind because my parents divorced and we had literally NOTHING.
