  Wow Pinkpengers, it sounds like you are living in a crazy-making environment. All your mom does is invalidate your feelings and tell you that you are a liar and a thief. Has it always been this way?
  I think you need an ally. Do you have any girlfriends (mates) that you can hang out with and vent to ? I think it’s normal at your age to realize that your parents are fallible and real people with problems, but you need support in order to break free and develop your own ideas about things. I am not sure that moving in with your fiance is the solution maybe suggesting that you and your mum go to counselor together? I’m not sure if she would be open to that but it’s worth a try.

  Um, I totally disagree with Cady’s post. Firstly, if you don’t know how to take care of a pregnant dog, do all dogs a favor and have her spade after she has her pups. With that said, you need to prepare a nice clean area for her to whelp (the term used for delivering baby pups) with some torn up/shredded news paper. Also, it is good to have a heating pad and some towels near by to keep the pups warm as she delivers more pups. Since you are very new to this endeavor, I would suggest you also 1) talk with your vet about issues specific to your dogs potential birthing issues and 2) buy a book on how to deliver pups. It can be a very easy thing to deliver pups or a very difficult and traumatic endeavor where your dog and pups lives may be at risk. Do not take this situation lightly! And whatever you do, find those pups a good home! The pound system is already overwhelmed by unwanted dogs, don’t add to the problem!

  I would speak with your teacher about this because the passive voice is not always a bad thing. However, if she/he is trying to teach you to write in an active voice, he/she should be able to explain to you what it is. I’m always amazed at how strictly some teachers adhere to the no passive voice rule because in the real world a lot of things are supposed to be written that way.

  It could be her period or she could have a urinary tract infection…If she is spade, you should definitely take her to the vet.

  Wow, this seems like a lot of work for you with minimal personal gain. If you don’t mind me asking, have you been attracted to men who withhold attention from you before? I would think about this. I’m most concerned that this guy that you really don’t know very well and don’t really have a relationship with has kept your attention for this long…either he is SUPER special or you’ve got a thing for standoffish guys or both. Either way, he’s playing a game and he didn’t give you a set of the rules…not a good situation.
  I would ignore him totally and find a guy that will be responsive and reciprocate your attention.
