  Don’t feel bad about phoning them. Verbal & emotional abuse can really get a person down. It’s difficult to fully understand the situation without knowing the full story, but maybe your call will make your mother realise its time for the two of you to sit down and sort things out.
  All parents shout & disipline their children in their own way, we have to have boundaries, but there comes a time when we need to grow & move on with our own lives. Hopefully without cutting family ties. Try & see things through your mothers eyes too.

  Just get HELP!
  
  Go to your doctor, or phone samaritains, or Mind. It’s so hard to take that first step. I know. I’ve tried to kill myself twice & the most difficult thing wasn’t slitting my wrists, but realising what a **** place you have to be in to do something like that.
  
  There are hundreds of people on this site that will help you through the highs & lows of going through therepy.

• Don’t think I can make it through today.
  

  I’ve made it to the end of today, but I just don’t understand how I got so low? I’ve been doing really well for the last couple of weeks, keeping my mood steady, then I just woke up feeling like a ton of bricks had hit me. I was even physically sick thinking about how I couldn’t cope with today. I can’t go through the rest of my life with such erratic emotions. I feel empty.
