  Really, I’m sorry you feel the way you do. It’s a shame. But perhaps your perspective is all wrong. I will try and respond to as many of the posts I can that I see may be having a perspective problem, but will address Your First. It is something that many people have difficulty with today. The focus is completely on ‘Self’ I and me, poor me poor me,[someone pour me a drink] I don’t like, I am not happy with, I am not happy because. You are not happy because you are not Grateful. Period.
  I have experienced some of the more Disastrous and Horrifying situations that as I look back on them, make me Completely Satisfied with life as it is today. I am a Vietnam vet, I have seen some things that were Living Nightmares.I live inside a house. [I was homeless for 12 years] I have healthy food to eat, I have clean clothes to wear each day, I sleep in a bed, I have bathroom facilities, I have a vehicle to drive, I have eyes that see, I have legs that walk, I have arms and hands that are able to do things I need to do, I have a mind that can think logically. These are he things that make for a comfortable life. Not the things you mention which make you unhappy. The things you mention are All in your power to fix, if you would just stop whining and do it.
  Is my life PERFECT. No! Who’s is? But it ain’t all that bad either. Someone mentioned speaking to your husband, and getting your kids disciplined. Your power to do. Ain’t nobody going to do it for you. And I can PROMISE you running away from it will only exacerbate the problems you face now, kid you think it’s bad now, go ahead and run away. The Grass Ain’t Greener on the other side of the fence. My wife and I have done some things that in any other relationship would have Destroyed it. But, what we have done to repair the damage is what LOVE does. Forgive. Forget and move on, just Learn from your mistakes. And Never do them again.
  Now maybe you need counseling, someone you can open up with completely, why not you did it here.
  Now to those of you who have your own ideas about Medication. First of all you are Not Doctors. Your advice is worthless. I am Schizophrenic and I will tell you Without medication my life is a nightmare. I am talking about medication that is prescribed precisely for my issue. Not drugs, not popping pills. Not street drugs, they will Ruin your life too. I don’t know if I have been any help. But i will pray for you. That is another part of my life that has helped Heal All the Wounds, a relationship with God. I’m NOT talking about religion. Again, the Only one that can fix your life is you, or you can make it worse. It’s really up to you.

  Ungrateful. You need to see things from a different perspective. Consider this. You could be homeless. You could be in a wheel chair with no legs, you could be blind. etc. etc…. the list goes on. God has blessed you with all the things that make for a wonderful life, but you take it for granted. I was homeless for 12 years. I now have a home and the woman I was outside with is with me still, we have been through some of the worst conditions humanly possible. We have done some things to each other that in any other case would be unforgivable, but that is what Love does. Is life picture perfect? No. I don’t think that is truly possible. BUT, we are Grateful to have what we do have. We are thankful to God for the little blessings every day. I wake up and thank him. I know how bad life Can get. And I don’t ever want to live that way again. In fact I have more than I HAVE MORE THAN I NEED. A 3 bedroom house, with a full basement, and an acre of land. I have a tractor lawn mower, and a 4 wheel drive truck. We have Clean clothes to wear everyday, we own our own washer and dryer. We have Food to eat. Is it a pain in the *** to keep up? Yes. By by God it’s worth it. Maybe you should come clean with your husband, maybe not. I would consider counseling. Someone not involved that you can open up with completely. Why not, you did here. I hope and pray things work out for the Best for you. But remember your kids NEED a mother. They may be loud, but that’s is what kids do.
