  It’s actually the Western black rhino, which is a subspecies of black rhino that was declared extinct in 2011. The black rhino, or hook-lipped rhino, is still listed as critically endangered.
  
  That being said it is still incredibly sad :( I love rhinos! They’re so cute! It’s so sad that people feel the need to murder them to the point of extinction. When will we learn? When all the animals are gone? Sorry, huge animal lover here if it wasn’t clear.
