We are both people touched by a place far away. The camel that you see is from a place where I hope to live one day. It is where near a very small Chinese Muslim city, there is much need there. I want to help. Why don’t you return to help or live with the people of Thailand?

I am able to speak mandarin, to a very limited extent. Wow dream in the language, I thought that praying or thinking to myself in mandarin chinese would be my goal, but to dream.

I have been to Bejing, Xining, Xinhua providence, and a couple of places where they have seen only a handful of white people. We have had the humbling, I really say this with eyes swelling, humbling experience of staying with a family (these are nomads, who live in tents for part of the year and mud (nicely put together w/ pine and tile) the rest) houses who welcomed me and my friend with such a display of food(well into 3 months of their income I am sure) and such kindness that I will never forget them.

Are you still able to practice the language?

I think about religion as man’s attempt to reach God. I have studied many of them, but the 2 I have the most experience in are self worship I was reaching out to myself as my own God (I guess it is most like Satanism, though I would have never admitted that I was bowing the knee to anyone and Christianity.
