  I used to play in a band - have done pretty much all my life until a couple years ago. But I just don’t have the passion for that anymore, and it’s so hard to get a band together! Clubs… I guess I could try. I just don’t know of any I’d enjoy.

  Marwa, there isn’t a hell. But I guess it’s what you believe in that counts. I’m guessing you believe in hell because of the bible/Koran? Well… I know the bible teaches that our bodies are just vessels for the soul. So your body will not go to hell. How can a soul be physically tortured?
  Have you given thought that hell was made up to scare people into obeying christianity?
  Just a thought.
  Because there is only one life - this life, so don’t waste it worrying.

  Hey Salala, thanks for the reply! Yep it sucks. I don’t think of myself as old but I do feel like time’s ticking away! I’m not interested in having kids - so no problem there, but I just want a bit of excitement! Very frustrating, right? I’m not sure if there will be an answer, let me know if things change for you!
  
  Lucif - ta too. I have thought about dating sites but I’d feel very very wierd doing it. My sister and best friend found thier husbands online, and I have no problem at all with anyone who does it. You’re just increasing your chances of meeting someone - but I just can’t bring myself to do it! If anyone (of my other friends) found out, they would really rip the mick out of me. I know I shouldn’t think about waht other people think but… Maybe if I get desparate. A speed dating night would be fun - but I have no one to go with!!!

  To say some more… I also feel I’m drinking way too much now. I’m doing a PhD but I fing myself drinking most nights, maybe getting drunk 2-3 nights a week at home. I certainly don’t feel too good in the mornings but I tend to get up late and work late. This isn’t good right? My family think my Dad is an alcoholic. Depression runs in my family.

  Surely for your kids sake its better you are not together? Seeing you argue and be unhappy is probabably not a good environment. My parents split when I was about 12. I never heard them argue - which was good because I know if I had done I would’ve been devastated. However, I did grow up in an environment where my parents didn’t talk to eachother or show eachother affection. I didn’t know that adults did this until my dad got a new girlfriend and was actually happy. Luckily for me my mum only moved a few miles away and I got to see her whenever I wanted. I had two bedrooms so I was happy!!
  I know this isn’t always the case but if you split and are civil to eachother, then this could be a much better thing. Its all about common sense. Do you think that if you split with your husband he won’t see the kids?
