  AND if soul mates don’t exist, and if you believe they do, then you will tend to languish under the illusion that the world owes you a perfect mate.
  
  I agree with you up to an extent on beliefs. but this is not true all the time. this is more true for those people who cling to their beliefs. some people tend to fall in love with their own ideas of the world. and eventually it becomes a barrier. and knowing this is why I feel it is important to recognize what is belief and what is real knowledge.

  that’s not what the term “resurrection” means. I’m not really sure what they call that (resuscitation?), but when someone says “resurrection” they don’t typically mean that.

  I do agree that some musical entertainment is ridiculous, but… there is nothing in the OPs message that logically supports your characterizations. we don’t really know why the OP’s parents find it “inappropriate” so I don’t think it’s fair to judge that way.
  
  OP, I don’t know how old you are and what is meant by “inappropriate” so it is hard for me to judge. In general I agree with your argument. but I’m now sure how you can get through to your parents.

  I can understand how your past experiences make you question whether or not to give her something as personal and thoughtful as your artistic effort. you do not want to open yourself up to needless and pointless negativity.
  
  oth, if you feel secure enough about it and can emotionally avoid any potential negativity, then I think it’s a great idea. you can’t predict how she will react, and some people are overly critical. just try to remember that this behavior is an expression of her own inner demons and likely has nothing to do with you.
