  You have pretty much hit the nail right on the head with many, many things my mind is in controversy over. I’ve just been leading myself to think that Europeans must know something that myself and every other American does not.
  
  One of the biggest arguments I’ve found myself in is the whole “Americans are just big headed glory hogs” when it comes to WWII, and our sacrifice was a waste of human life. The thing they fail to realise is that someone HAD to do it, and when it comes down to it, it was American citizens giving their lives for a war that wasn’t even originally theirs. If that’s what you call selfish and arrogant, maybe it’s time they look those two words up on Dictionary.com.
  
  I used to feel lucky that I have the luxury of having both British and American citizenship, however the past year or so I have been more proud to be an American than ever. I’m afraid once I leave the only time I will be returning to this end of the world is for vacation, and it certainly won’t be in England.

  If she truly loved you she wouldn’t be messing around with other people. It may be hard to hear, but you’re only hurting yourself staying with her. You either need to set things straight with this girl, or move on to something bigger and better!

  It may sound cliché, but time heals everything. It may seem unreal to you right now, and you can’t put an expiration date on your feelings for this girl, but I have confidence that you will heal. Continue with your every day life, and keep putting yourself out there. You clearly have a big heart, and one day sooner or later you will find someone who will realise and cherish that forever. I’m only speaking generally since I don’t know the exact scenario, just don’t give up :]

  My opinion on this, is that white people seem to be the only “race” ever deemed as racist, which gives you your code word. The political terms for racism are so messed up it is just ridiculous, and if anything are the cause for loads of the racism problems to this day.
  
  How often do you hear about an “African-American on Caucasian hate crime”? Not very often, yet we know they happen all the time, and vice-versa.
  
  I am not a racist, and do not enjoy being classed as one just for being Caucasian.
