4000 dollars isnt hard to put together, get a second job or sell some stuff.

When it comes to making extra cash it comes to a couple questions… (1) how much extra time do you have? (2) what are you willing to do (walk dogs, baby sit, wash cars?? these kinds of things) 3 what are you good at (aside from doing hair) that you can profit from. I have met peole that put together scrap books for money, you could wash clothes for neighbors that may not have a washing machine. Virtually everything that you have you can somehouw turn into a small business…
Before you get ahead of yourself the first thing I would advise you to do is to come up with a budget (you can find about a million templates for budgets online where all you do is fill in the blanks.) Second, I would look realistically at how much time you have to devote to other businesses. Once you have an idea of how much money you want or need to make sit down and brain storm for about an hour. Write down every idea that you come up with even if it sounds silly… Who knew that little paper umbrellas would someday be a multi million dollar idea…
Next look at the list and see what is going to cost the lease amount of money to start but will give you the most amount of money.
Last start a savings account that you never touch….
Hope that helped

6wolf, I am in a similar situation, I have always worked hard and paid my taxes without complaint. I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps for this country and now can’t find a job. everything I own is in jeopardy of being lost. the only thing that I can say is Everything in life (material wise) can be regained… The only thing that I can suggest is to get in touch with your representatives for your state and ask if there is an assistace program, ask if there are any people they know that are lending money to families like yourselves. May not be the answer but it is worth a shot… I pray that everything works out for you…
