  Dress however you want to. I doubt there are that many ***** in seventh grade, and if there are, they are probably very insecure and need more nice friends who don’t call them nasty things.

• (2 votes) Why do people take back their boyfriends after they constantly cheat on them?
  

  If a person divines their self worth from other people’s reactions to them, they’d be shattered if their boyfriend cheated, and looking for a way to repair their vision of themselves by taking him back so that they can feel kind and desirable. Of course this always backfires, but treating yourself according to how you think others see you always does.
  I think it is unhealthy for a person to take back a cheater, but it’s also bad for the cheater to go back with someone who would take them back. They’ve both lost something too important to be together again. One person’s total lack of respect for their partner is too big to be overlooked or forgotten, and while it might be seen as all romantic and sweet for the other person to disregard their self respect to go back with a person who broke their trust, it says, “this is okay, you may do it again.” even if it isn’t said with words. Expecting the best of another person is romantic, not forgiving them everything. That means your love isn’t worth the best of someone. It cheapens it, and does no good for the cheated on or the cheater.

  If she told you she was proud of you for quitting, she wanted you to stop. You can put her name on the butterfly next time if you feel like trying again. Or you could put the name of just about any of the accounts on this site, then you’d have thousands of butterflies. Everyone wants you to stop.

  Thanks for your response, what you wrote makes good sense to me. I’m glad that you’ve figured out how to treat yourself more respectfully with boundaries :) I think knowing that you’re valuable and doing the best thing for yourself is the best way to be available for others too, but that’s just a random benefit. Being good to yourself and appreciating that that’s what you’re doing sounds very healthy.
