If you’re not okay with the current situation and feel like you could find someone who would marry you and be a better father to your children, that’s a possibility, but this guy is your kids’ dad. Don’t offer ultimatums unless you are prepared to handle the less favorable outcome.

I get it. It’s usually possible to relate giant general questions to just about everything though. Like with the lab report, you could be like, “Isn’t it weird that we’re spending our limited time on Earth working on homework? What do you think life ought to be about? How does homework fit into the scheme of things? Would there be a better way to learn?”
