  After having been very depressed for several years and bringing myself mostly out of it, I now will not follow any thought patterns that don’t provide for a positive outcome. No matter how likely and real a negative thought may seem, I won’t accept it if it promises no possible positive outcome. It’s what works for me. It just isn’t productive to entertain negative thoughts all the time. Take what is making you unhappy and start working toward changing it, step by step.

  Your rhyme scheme is inconsistent to the point that when you rhyme it seems like you were trying to before and couldn’t. So you should either rearrange the lines and phrases to give it better meter, or you should stop trying to make any of it rhyme, because everytime, you make a rhyme, that isn’t fine, it feels benign, because they’re too close together and then it feels wierd when they stop for a bit and pick up on another line.

  My friend’s mom moved down to the midwest with her daughter from canada when my friend was in high school to marry my neighbor. They met over Starcraft online and they were together for several years if they aren’t still. You can meet people anywhere but online relationships have a lot more room for dishonesty than do “person physically present” relationships. Everyone involved was thin btw. I wasn’t attracted to either of the parents, but that’s pretty normal for a high schooler.

  It would be best to not dwell on it and try to busy yourself with new things and experiences. If you cultivate new interests and explore new areas of life it will make you more satisfied with yourself, life, and in your future relationships. It will also make you more confident and more attractive to everyone around you including your ex. If after this he decides that he wants to ‘go there,’ you possibly won’t even be interested anymore… or maybe he’d have gone through changes by that point as well and it will work. But fretting over anything is not going to make you feel better and will definitely putt others off. In any event life is unpredictable and there’s a limit to what we can control. That’s what makes living beautiful :-)
