2008-08-14 12:23:44 on Clip In Extensions?
I agree. Though- I have to tell you, usually cheap extensions end up looking like plastic in your hair. Make sure you get as high a quality as you can afford…
2008-08-12 13:11:58 on How can I find a place to live (shelter, heat, water, electricity) without signing a lease?
I would agree with dadaism. Either a friend, or just a sympathetic person. You wouldn’t be able to live entirely alone on that salary- neither would most people accept anonymous cash. They’d be a bit worried about what you were trying to hide…
2008-08-12 13:08:58 on Does anyone know if they can graduate from college (undergrad) and go back?
.. depends on the school, really
2008-08-11 19:11:32 on Does anyone know if they can graduate from college (undergrad) and go back?
good enough to get into law school??…well, unlikely. See, you can definitely go back to take classes, but your grades are going to follow you.. and you’d need a hell of a lot of As to get your gpa up enough. But, if you’re persistent, and determined, then it’s possible.
2008-08-09 14:19:16 on i have so many projects for school and school is in 2 weeks….
break them all up into little bits ant tackle a bit at a time.
2008-07-20 18:27:27 on Is 51 too old to consider going to grad school and changing careers?
Of course not. You just have to want it badly enough not to stop because of idiots who think it is.
2008-07-20 18:18:38 on I need a job really bad.
Craigslist. Seriously. Pick whatever you’re good at, or even decent at, and post ads. Not the job ads, but small contractor ones.
2008-05-21 10:03:18 on I don’t jog very often… however, when I
Hmmm.. no, actually.. it feels like it lies inside the internal muscle wall, but it doesn’t spread, and doesn’t feel like gas….
2008-05-19 18:53:20 on hi, i am in the IB program at school and i am almost
I am finishing the IB program this year, and I can tell you this: getting yourself expelled is not worth it. The first year subjects are not that important, seriously. Even if you don’t take th subjects you want, you can move towards the area you want later, in your soph and junior years (and if you’re already a junior, then just pass the tests- they’re not that important for college admissions, but a diploma will look very good, and it lets you not take some basic classes in some colleges…).
2008-04-13 19:30:15 on Okay so i asked my school if they could put in a couple of recycling bins around school.
In my school, we made boxes ourselves… If you want to make a change, take action, rather than asking the school to do something for you!!! start a group, raise money, and put bins out yourselves (with the school’s permission of course). Recycling won’t be saving the school money, so the school has no incentive for doing it. They’re a business after all, in its most basic of forms. You’re the one who wants it- so do it!
2008-04-13 19:13:19 on Ok so I got a sunburn witch is peeling and it looks like I have a skin disease.
Get a hot bath, then use a pumice stone and a stiff brush to go over your whole body. Don’t rub so hard that it’s painful, though. Repeat daily for the next few days, and don’t forget to have someone do your back!. It will help get your skin color evened out.
2008-04-13 18:24:55 on All my life i have been lorried around to different
A-levels: go to the library. Study there.
Blamed for a lot of arguments/violence: library. It’ll help keep you out of the way of most of the stuff.
Rent: Are you 18? Do you pay the rent for everyone? if yes, then quit, and move out. If you are the one who works and pays the rent, they are in your house, and you have the right to demand that they shut up or get out. If you are not paying the rent for everyone, then it might be time for you to look around for cheap housing. Your commuting time might get a lot longer, but you will be in a better situation. If you are not 18, then I’m afraid that you have to bear with it until you turn 18, and gain your freedom.
Other people’s problems: you could always try quitting that job. They’ll probably work it out on their own eventually, but in either case if you try to solve their problems for them, they’ll just keep happening -whether financial, or emotional. And- they’ll blame you for it.
It’s not your fault. It’s not your life choices. However, your life is your own- and you have to make a choice to get out of your situation no matter what, or live with it and accept it. Getting out will be hard, but you will be free. Living with it will mean you don’t have to take the responsibility of getting out of there- but you will have to accept the arguments and violence. Make the choice and follow through.
2008-04-06 20:40:52 on According to ANY religion, are all sins equal or are some far worse?
Well- I thought christians believed something along Dante’s POV- where there were different levels of hell for sins of different… intensities… and types. Me, personally- I don’t really believe in a god as a conscious entity, and I believe that it’s all morals for the lesser stuff. However, I do believe that there is a built-in mechanism which tells us not to kill weaker members of our own species, and to protect our offspring; and going against those things, even due to the preconceptions one has acquired over one’s lifetime, is as much a sin as a thing can be. (child rapists, basically, and criminally negligent parents.) Everything else is fine in my book….
2008-04-06 19:49:24 on Tomorrow Im gonna finally see the guy i like.I havent
I am in a very similar situation, actually… except I see my guy on a regular basis, and do stupid stuff to try to get him to notice me as a female on a regular basis. I haven’t figured out what to do so far, and it’s been a year now. I think it’s a pretty hopeless situation, frankly. Sorry :) If you figure something out though, tell me, ok?
2008-03-10 19:31:48 on Hello, Iam 16 years old, I study Graphic designe…
Most work-at-home things are scams. I haven’t found any that actually worked so far. The one thing you could do though, is try selling your designs/art- either through an organization, a website, or try using SecondLife.
