Well, its a comforting thought to understand the mindset Brain study shows that conservatives and liberals approach everyday decisions differently to realize its not “them” but a preferreed set of basic notions that they are basing things upon. which is why they see things with a simplistic eye, and why the old testament christianity is attractive to them

I think your book is a great idea, but if I read it I will only get more pissed off!!! I can’t stand that people want to live comfortable lives and not be bothered with the less fortuante because it makes them uncomfortable. You know how passionate I am about my students, and I work with the most ignored student population there is. Most people would like to just believe my students are unreachable and toss them in jail.

im thinking about writing a book called the conservative mind. in it will be the hypothesis that the conservative mind is defined to be one that wants the world to match a simplistic, peaceful world, and anything that doesnt coincide with this has to be eliminated; hence the need for adjuciating factors such as state of mind, retardedness, or the defendnat being a child is difficult for the conservative mind to accept
