  revolution is the word!
  
  Its ironic that some politicans these days are going on about democracy and how it should be spread to every country, when the countries that used to have democracies are no long that.
  
  For a democracy all the people need to have a say when deciding an issue. This means being informed of the issue (not misled) and being given the opportunity to vote.
  
  Although people in “democracies” still have a vote they are either given no real choice (american presidential election) or are badly or misinformed (Irish vote on the Nice treaty for Europe a while back).

  Family is important, but you can still keep in touch with them, even on the opposite side of the country.
  I don’t know how long your scholarship is for but a few years away from home might be worth the gains?

  Any relationship which has more than 2 people in it is always going to end in misery. If I was in your situation, in love with a girl who was going with other guys, I’d be depressed as well.
  If she’s not willing to have a proper relationship with you, then move your attention elsewhere set yourself some goal and spend your time thinking of that instead, because obsessing about a girl like that will only continue to depress you.
