I know. I feel the same way. For me, every day is a battle with my attitude, mood, desires, energy, and anxiety. All these play into my socialness. Hardly a day goes by I feel socially fulfilled - but everyday is another chance also. I have learned positivity is key.

Dude - no. I was the most antisocial person in highschool. THE MOST. I spoke an average of three words a day. It was so awkward. SO awkward for me and everyone around me. I hated it. But college…totally different. Totally. Don’t worry. Don’t stress yourself out. Join a community. Like the art department, or some club. You don’t have to introduce yourself first day and define yourself and carry on day to day relationships/interactions. It’s a do-at-your-own-pace kind of experience. NO ONE CARES about anything in college. they don’t laugh. If you talk to them, they are most of the time nice. if you don’t, THEY DON’T CARE.

you will enjoy it. or at least not hate it.

If you were wanting to rent a hall, the possibilities are limitless as far as activities go. My cousin and her husband did this thin where they had glasses with sand and one glass in between them, and when they got married they both poured their sand into the middle glass. It was different. Um. At weddings, the guests don’t do much besides give gifts, eat, and sit. So whatever you do, I wouldn’t require them to do more than that. Maybe play a game or something, but one where everyone can sit. Or tell stories. Or something. I don’t know - have you looked at other websites to see what ideas are out there?
