  You shouldn’t have dropped your ambitions. If you’re boyfriend loves you and if he’s “the one”, then he’ll understand and support you. If he wants you to stay and quit your dreams, then, well… I guess he’s not the guy for you. Have you talked to him about this?

  The thing is that I’ve tried. But guess what, there are NO acting groups outside of schools, NO church activities for young people and even if there are, you can sign up to them only at the beginning of September. No youth activities here, cause the town invests in tourists, not the inhabitants.
  As I said, my student friends don’t give a **** about me (even going out for a walk with me is too much for them to do). I don’t know anyone else. Besides, it’s July now and summer holidays are not favourable for lonely people. Poles are rather unfriendly and xenophobic, at least most of them. They really don’t like changes and new people around.
  I’m not looking for excuses, these are the facts. Believe me, I’d give anything to find someone I’d be able to talk to. Anything.

  I’m a student. I’m alone, cause the only friends I’ve ever had - my brother and my sister have gone to a university, 300 kilometers away from home. The distance and the fact that they have to study a lot, so they can’t call often, separeted me from them. What I mean is that this specific bond that was between us disappeared. I can’t talk to them the way I once could. That’s one thing.
  
  Another thing is that my mother works form 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., so she doesn’t have much time for me. And even when she does, I can’t turn to her for help, cause when I try to explain her something, she lectures me. She’s a psychologist, so lecturing is what she does for living. I tried asking her just to listen to me, without saying a word. I tried that many times, but she can’t.
  My father is abroad, that’s not good for me either. He’s been abroad for 9 years now. He’s home for two weeks three times a year.
  
  It’s not that I don’t love them, I really do. They’re everything to me. But I feel like they don’t know me at all and it’s hard.
  
  I’m not an outsider, I’m rather popular. But you know what they say, if you have many friends, you have none friends. When my “friends” need something, I’m always there for them, but when I’m in trouble or having a hard time, they don’t even talk to me. Like I was sick, or something.
  
  As for my hobbies, well… I live in a small town. Playing guitar and singing are things that most people do at home. Me too. And here, in my hometown, I can act only at my school. With my classmates, which is ironic.
  
  You’re right, the Internet is a great thing. You may find it weird, but I’m very grateful to you for replying. It uplifted me a bit.
