  Yes, it is easy to find friends who are needy when you have anything in plenty. I know that I am very stable mentally and emotional and this attracts people who are looking for stability. Not always but a lot. I also find myself in company of people who are equally able or better able or learning to be able to be such a way. I always know the ones who were just around because they needed my stability. They disappear the minute I need help, or they judge and are hurtful to me for not being strong. I was a thing to them, some thing they got stability from, not a person.
