I do hope you take some time out to explore Islam, because I’m sure it’ll sate your search for a true faith and a true God.But do think about this, If people were to only be able to judge themselves, there wouldn’t be anyone to tell anyone what’s right and what’s wrong. Everyone would only do what seemed right to them then, and no one would care how their acts are affecting others… As for the power imbalances you talk about… Do explore Islam.
And what you said about missing being a christian and Jesus, in Islam we believe that God has no sons or daughters, and Jesus was one of His prophets. And Seven, it’s inevitable to miss being part of a faith, to want to believe….

hi moniba, I used to think i was a christian but I do not believe it is right that someone who is gay, a single parent, had sex before marriage etc sould be judged by others……..i beleive we are only answerable to ourselves and the highest guidance. i.e GOD is within us and not dictable by pastor or priest. There are power inbalances in religion that mean people get exploited and are made to feel guilty, ashamed and accountable for either no harm or harm they have only done to themselves and ought to process with thier own inner conscience and knowledge of god rather that an external idea of God…I miss being a christian and still believe in jesus but that he was like a prophet, not the son of god, like buddha etc….

The people you helped probably didn’t need it so much, which is why they didn’t return it with a good favour. Start helping those who seriously do need it, they won’t forget you. Eventually, if you go on doing this, you’ll come out of the bitter shell. Don’t let those people ruin your life!

I know the process. I’ve seen it. I know what it concerns, and what it causes.
So maybe whim was a wrong word to use. But I still don’t think gender replacement is or should be acceptable.

You’re not getting the point. God loves beauty. He does. He is beautiful, and wants His creations to be beautiful. He doesn’t though, want us to go overboard with it. Fixing our faults is fine, its good, it’s necessary. But this is not the issue here. Gender replacement! It’s not fixing faults, it’s changing your body on your whim! It’s not necessary. Besides, internal beauty is what really really matters.

Hi Sweetie.. Don’t be unhappy, be happy, and let them see that you’re happy! I speak from experience that when you’re trying to get over something, you waste all your energy on “trying to get over it”, which results in thinking more and more about it. And that just doesn’t let us get up. So here’s what you should do; put your energy and your time and your potential to something else. Very different. Work for a cause, a purpose. And somewhere along the way, I assure you, you will find happiness! But until then, you’ve got to fake it till you make it. Stay blessed, stay happy:) !
