I am so very sorry your dog passed away.
They only thing I can say is that she is still with you in your heart. She would not want you to be so stressed. Talk to her and remember all the good fun you had with her. Give her a smile and she will lick your face. . . Tell her you will always love her. Then, with a smile on your face, dig into the work that you need to get done.
It is not a matter of forgetting, but remembering that will get you through.

In your sentence, the word “any” implies more then one. Thus there is no argument for the singularity of the “A” and the “E”.
