• (1 vote) WHY THE HATE?
  

  The problem in my opinion is that depression has been marketed and termed emo for some inexplicable reason. I have myself suffered from severe depression which in turn has made others call me emo. Yet I don’t dress in any of the “supposed” emo clothing and I don’t make myself look any different from the average geek(t-shirt and jeans) to express my emotional turmoil(which instead is written in blogs and so on).
  
  Also, emo in its current iteration seems very much like a watered down goth version to many which probably results in some lashing(especially from those who consider them “real” goths).
  
  Personally I’d like to see emo fashion and depression separate into two separate things instead of being thought of as the same thing as fashion is one thing(and depends on the individual’s taste. Can’t please everybody), but depression is a serious things that affects a lot of people and needs to be treated like any other affliction.

  Will it get better? Not even I can answer that, and probably no one can. Usually it involves a change of life or a dramatic change in one’s own life that makes you think otherwise.
  
  You can of course try to stay in there and see if it won’t get better as it might do for you.
  
  Stupidity comes in many forms and calling yourself stupid is usually a blunt attack on yourself, something that I am familiar with myself. Am I stupid? Sometimes I feel that way, especially when I am down and feel as if I am nearing the world’s edge. In retrospect, however, I can find moments where I was far from stupid and showed both skill and cunning. This in turn creates hope that I might be more than my hate for myself.
  
  Regarding obesity I can’t comment as I have no idea of your bodily proportions or weight in general, and please, don’t say you’re fat compared to any fashion models as they are not skinny, but bony.
  
  Friends are tricky as they require emotions to go both ways. Sometimes I have found myself at odds with my friends(even the oldest and best). If they are truly your friends they just need time to recuperate and think things over. If it’s something serious then you need to get down and talk with them. I don’t know how many times I have averted the loss of friendship by swallowing down my pride and opening up a conversation with the wronged friend.

  If you have already sent it, then you’re out of luck as the recipient already has it(or it is on his e-mail server).

  Unfortunately it is hard to comment on this as I don’t have much information to go on, especially regarding whether you’re blood relatives and respective age.
  
  However, I recommend you seek some counseling with a professional, especially if you feel endangered.

  Not to sound like a pragmatic old fart, but college should be a high priority.
  
  If you two really love each other I can’t see why your excursion into college should ruin it.
