The rumor was about me. I shouldn’t have brought it up. It bothers me because a lot of people believed it. A lot of people I thought were my friends. It was timed right and just convincing enough to look very plausible. I’m not saying what it was here, though. I’ll ask you to leave it be, because, like I said, rumors only spread while people talk about them. But I’m not going to lie if you ask again. If you choose to, my e-mail is visible to you.

As for the other part, if you don’t know, it’s better that way. Spreading rumors is no way to stop them.

Short of those around here, and Kassee…er…Chase, I haven’t been in touch with any of the old crew. Some of those I’ve seen aren’t really the same anymore. The Mod Wars and a well-placed rumor or two has changed many of them for the worse.

it seems worth a try…jeff said he doesnt have anything to do with it anymore because its owned by CBS. If we could get a working code they might implement it, but like jeff said, be careful how we approach this, because they may end up either revamping this site into a web 2.0 piece of shit, or get rid of it completely.

Furthermore, mightn’t Jeff have a copy of the original code somewhere?

Just a thought… if we could write out the code needed for the site to function properly, and sent it to them… do you think they’d implement it?

True. Even though I’m an insanely old member, there were a lot that were old when I was new, and they’ve just sort of faded. I think there are maybe fifteen people I can think of who have been here longer, and are still here.
