Hey, in this post.. http://help.com/post/219273-whats-thi… we’re trying to figure out what the V/U/S beside a post stands for. We already deduced that U is for updates (including invites) and that S is for subscribers. But there are 0 V’s. I’m thinking it might mean people who have viewed the post but not replied (visitors? viewers?).

Could you do us a favor and visit the post but not reply just yet? Thanks.

Also the number replies disappeared from below all the posts on the home page, and that had been very useful. Now we can’t tell how many replies there are without entering a post.

I marked the one anyway. This is why the profile page needs to have a list of the user’s own favorite replies, or at least an expanded list. I marked Dani’s and Greeneyes’ replies about farting and they may still be on their top 5 lists.

I’d let them do it. I wouldn’t change anything at all. I’d treat them the same, I’d talk to them the same- I wouldn’t even comment on the new fashion. Why? Because if I throw a fit over it or try to keep them from doing it, they’re just going to want to do it that much more. I’m not giving them attention for something like that. I won’t deny them the attention they earn, but I won’t give them attention for dressing all spooky if they want to be a goth, or all fruity if they want to e an emo.

thanks for the reader’s digest version of the origins of goth. How does “going goth” affect someone typically? I know you don’t have kids, but if you did and one of them started going goth or emo, how would you react? Not that mine are; I’m just interested.

I won’t mention names here, but I really don’t have to. There are three people right now who seem to be actively trying to demolish the site, one more than the other two. Two of them are just stupid, the other one… well, they used to be a good user, now they’re closer to a troll than most of those I’ve dispatched.

I learned this evening that a friend from high school, whom I haven’t seen for years, killed himself. Don’t think it would help anyone for me to post about it, but it’s both sad and strange. Tell Snow I sent good thoughts her way.
