Hi. My name is Zaira Orghlaith and I’m 16 years old. I don’t really have very many problems anymore, I seem to have dealt and moved on. I’m adopted and was abused by my adoptive father as a young girl. He abused my mother as well. I helped my mother buy a house and move out after I found a message to his sister that included plans to kill us. Since we’ve left him, my life has been happy and I’ve been able to live a normal life. I used to be afraid of males, but now I have a wonderful boyfriend and I’m happy where I’m at. I’m a high school sophmore currently taking some college courses online just for fun (nerdy, I know). I’m a published poet and I have a book deal out for a short mystery story and for a poetic anthology. I’m wanting to go to college once I graduate high school with a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I’m very excited for college and being out in the real world. People tell me to just wait, and take a breath and not be so excited, its not as good as I think. But after the things I’ve gone through, though may be small and nothing compared to other issues out there, I’m an independent person and I think I can manage. I enjoy just about anything, it doesn’t take much or keep me busy or happy, even the smallest compliment to me will keep my heart light for about a week. I love this site and all the wonderful, beautiful people in it. I don’t get online too much because I’m busy with cheerleading, drill team, band, jazz band, or just plain old school for about 3/4 of my life, but the other 1/4, I’m ready and willing to help anyone who is open to hearing from me and listening to my young wisdom. What causes are you concerned about today?
Laziness... I think everyone should do their bit of exercise! Even if its a very small amount!
