  Diet. Dont go on one, change yours. Most of us have been conditioned to eat too much. Go to Applebees and find out. Six Ethiopian’s could be well fed for a week off the fried onion!
  
  Just try eating less and replace your sugar laden liquids with water. Eat till your full, not bloated. It dosent take as much as you think. It’s all about controlling the portion size. If you cant fit it in the palm of your hand, its too much. It will be hard, but start out slow. Also, if you do decide to work out try to build some more muscle. Muscle burns more calories then fat, so even when you are not working out you are consuming more of your calories.

  But you did’nt… so stop now and get help. Once the thought you have entertained turns to action, it will be late. But now you have a chance. Run as fast as you can in the other direction, you will thank yourself later. If then, down the road, with a clear head you decide your marrige needs help, you can thake the correct steps. Whatever you do, dont cheat for the sex, its somply not worth it. Dont let your emotions play tricks on you. Stay in control!

  Great advice on the Lunch Note. Also,
  
  Try to understand why? If you love him, and we would assume you do. During a quite time you might ask him about his day, what happens at lunch time. Do things get crazy, can you do something to help. this will help you determine if calling at lunch is even feasable. Perhaps he needs the down time, perhaps he is so comfortable with your relationship he fails to see the importance to you.
  
  I would avoid the Surprise Call. No one likes a nag, He may be very aware of the problem but is thus far unable to make it better for you. If that is the case, the surprise call would just distance you two and make the problem worse. clear communication will work best.

  Where I used to work they called them F.C’s not F.A’s I think it stands for F@#^ing ConMen.
  
  Making money off of other peoples money and money lending is perhaps the second oldest perfession, and possibly less dignified then the first. Remember, Jesus forgave the prostitiue and drove out the money changers!
  
  If they could make money off of you paying down that mortgage, they would be telling you something different!
  
  Facts:
  
  1. Even in a down cycle, real estae often beats the market.
  2. How will the imrovements you make increase the value and thus your Equity. You cant control your mutual fund the same way.
  3. Your in control vs their in control. Worst case scenario, you take the F.A’s advise, just pay your minimum payment and put the rest to work for you. Then, 10 years down the road the bottom falls out. Your fund is worthless and you have no equity to tap into to get you over the hump! Remember 1987!
  4. Best case scenario, you pay down early, cash out in 10 years, buy down, maybe a fixer upper and live rent free for the rest of your life?
